TORA American Endurance Championship: Daytona 24 - Lobby C Race Control

If there are any problems or any emergency stint switches for cars in Lobby C, please post them here.  Please use this thread only for stint swaps and other emergency info. General chat WILL be removed.  

Remember that stint are ran like this is a typical TEC race.  The lobby is set for 2 hours in length, and all drivers must stop when the clock hits 20 minutes.

disregard this, revert back to the normal stints for us he turned up.

If stint 4 i'm doing is going well, i will be able to host stint 8.

I can host stint 8, as someone who has hosted in the past....

Further reference PLEASE include numbers when you are changing drivers.

Apparently there was some confusion as to how stints 2-12 are supposed to go.

The stints for this race run exactly like TEC of years past. The rules/regs thread explains how the sprint series will work, not today's event. Assuming people would understand that the rules for the sprint series would not be applied to the Endurance Cup format in hindsight was a bad choice.

Anyway, here is how things are supposed to go. I gave hosts this info earlier but some must've been missing.

Stint 2-12 grid order- will be sent to you by staff.

No pace lap, single file start. Racers get into line as quickly as possible. The race will begin when the lead Prototype driver exits T3, aka the right hand hairpin after the start. All classes start then, but no passing is allowed until you are through T yourself.

Everyone stops w/ 20 min to go. Leader in prototype gives how many miles they've done, and everyone else gives their distance to said prototype leader. Once this is complete, the leader in prototype will drive up the track to find the next mile marker. Once they do that, the distance between 1st and 2nd is taken down again.

All this data is then given to a staff member and/or me.

Yes correct, the other stints will start in single file order. The host will give the drivers their starting position.

This is making more sense.

Last question because honestly this C lobby has been a little bit of a mess...with the formation lap in stint 1, does time adjusted so that there is 1 hr 40 minutes of racing after the green flag because stint 1 was stopped right at 20 min.

in stint 2 and 3, we started the 1 hour 40 minutes as soon as we crossed the line to start racing so we actually raced for the full 1 hour 40 minutes
