Metcheck Focus

Joining the Tora Touring Car Championship this year will be independent driver sbiggs360, who has currently been testing a Focus ST pre-season, hoping to bring the car to the championship opener at Mugello. With only sponsorship backing from weather website "Metcheck" as well as his part suppliers, sbiggs360 is already feeling the pressure. Having only been in competitive racing for a few weeks, he's hoping his racing background in previous formulas (Gran Turismo) will help him up the field.

"This is a completely different challenge for me. Previously its felt like I've been racing robots, easily winning championship after championship, but now this is where the big boys win. My pre-season testing times look quite promising, but am still getting used to no ABS. This factor will separate the men from the boys.

I can't imagine I'll be challenging for the championship, but I'm hoping to finish in the top half, and hopefully pushing for podiums as I gain more experience throughout the year.

I can't wait for the season to begin, and although I fight fair, I do fight!"

I did a livery on a Civic last season that everyone praised, I said exactly what you said above, turns out the Civic was crap.

May have been crap last year, but Dan turned in some decent performances in one... maybe it's the driver?

And it is so very much better in the new regs.
