WIX Racing TCC 2017
The 2017 WIX Racing Touring Car Championship blasts back into action in March with a packed field and exciting new venues matched with old favourites.
Subtle changes to the regulations will assure exciting racing throughout the season while still maintaining the spirit and feel of the great touring car championships which have always been the inspiration behind the TORA series.
The championship returns to a three race format for the first time in three years and a reverse grid third race will ensure that the pack will be well shuffled at each meeting.
An eight round calendar will see the TCC make the traditional start at Brands Hatch in Kent before travelling to iconic venues such as Long Beach, Sebring, Indianapolis and Silverstone. In all, six manufacturers will be represented in the 2017 season with new arrivals Chevrolet taking their first full season start in the WIX Racing TCC since 2014 under the production based formula.
There will also be prizes on offer for the top three drivers in the championship courtesy of WIX Racing.
The WIX Racing Touring Car Championship kicks off on 7th March At Brands Hatch.
Calendar:
Brands Hatch Indy: Rounds 1/2/3 March 7th
Long Beach East: Rounds 4/5/6 March 21st
Indianapolis GP Alt: Rounds 7/8/9 April 4th

It's quite likely that NATCC could start at 9PM EST, which is 6PM PST.

For the love of god NO!! I haven't raced in almost a year because of the 9pm starts. Just one series it would be nice if I could attend.

You do realize that 8PM Eastern is when anyone west of Colorado is just clocking out of work (5:PM PST)? But to accommodate anyone that is in your position, we're considering a 8:30 EST start time as a compromise to see if that would be all-inclusive.
Yes Mikey, I know what time it is on the west coast. It gets a bit frustrating when there's no series at a time I can make though. Makes me wonder why I bother being a member. 8:30 is do able as long as there's no silly delays.

Useful info for me, as a series planner/coordinator, would be :What does your end time need to be? As a West Coaster, I know what we need to be able to start, but TBH, I am not sure what time you need to be finished by.
For me, the event has to be over by 10pm est at the latest. I leave for work immediately after that. I know series can't be designed around the needs of one member, but once in a while throw us off-shifters a bone. LOL

Soon soon. The delay in getting them posted was deciding "who" was going to be hosting the series.
