Yea, the Cruze is a monster for acceleration, but that's about it - kinda like the GT Bentley.

I expect the Toyota or Honda to be fastest around most tracks, but the Cruze definitely has the advantage at Long Beach.

best way to figure out where you lose time is to go on rivals.
take on of the top guys on your car and watch the telemetry.
i just hit the 53s lol

That is what I noticed in practice lobbies at LB. Can beat it to T3, but it runs away on the back straight. Same thing again coming out of the hairpin. But, the Yota is more predictable in the corners, which could help keep it off the walls come race time.

I've mainly been running high 55's and low 56's, somehow my best is a 55.1.

My best with Honda is 55.1xx or even 55.0xx but not sure if I can pull this out in 5/6 laps Q :/. Not enoug time to practice.

I use 0 areo on rear +- 75% areo front

Have managed a 54.2 as a best, but that was late in a run and pretty much my limit, can usually get a 54.4/54.5 in the first few laps though.

so, I've run a 53.8 as a PB, reckon pole will be a 53.4 ish possibly quicker

i pole will be 53,9 or 54,0. its just not possible getting much lower than that without cutting in T3 and that is not allowed. i saw a 53,6 with cut

I've run a 53.89x without cutting turn 3 (Admittedly I'm in the Cruze) and people like Amarth etc... are usually atleast half a second quicker than me so I was just guessing

I hit 54.9 in Honda then never went close to that and stay on low 55

I'm hitting low 1:39s. my fastest being 1:39:491 but I know I can be faster. just need to do a few tweeks to the car and my line through a few corners and I can hit a 38.
