Re: TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Lap times Thread
It's a little bit of common sense though if you look at the other circuits club, national, short or normally shorter variants of the much larger tracks

Re: TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Lap times Thread
Not common sense to everyone obviously. I don't care about the track, I just want to help others avoid confusion in the future. The tracks in the calendar should have the same name as the tracks in game.stug77 wrote:It's a little bit of common sense though if you look at the other circuits club, national, short or normally shorter variants of the much larger tracks

Agreed for sure but it is common sense if you race on the shorter versions of other tracks they all have similar names such as club, national or indeed short

SubaruWRX522 wrote:Agreed 100% I looked and saw Club and Full Circuit... no national, so I went with the full circuit.F4H Diablo wrote:The track list says "National" which some people understand as "shorter variant" (that's how Hockenheim and Silverstone are named) but that's not always the case and needs to be spelled out in the calendar.
As a reference, if a track reads as National or Club, it tends to mean short track variant. The full track tends to be either called Full or GP. This isn't always true but a good rule of thumb.

Got the car, grabbed the first tune that said "TORA" and ran five laps with a best of 59.8. I'm losing a bunch of time in the first and last corners.

Can someone point me to where it says no stability control please? As a TORA newbie, I'm thinking that if I missed that rule, there may be others Ive missed too. Thanks

Re: TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Lap times Thread
I'm still in the high 58s using my default tune with a bit of adjustments. It's weird since I got a 58.7 with the rented car. Might be doing something wrong that I haven't noticed yet.

Re: TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Lap times Thread
Looking at the leader board the top fast guys are at 57.4 roughly - I ran 10 laps 58.499 which kinda surprised me that I was that close - I assume by Sunday they will be going quicker - If I can figure out the last damn turn maybe I can hit a 57 - I used AMS Swift's tune

Re: TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Lap times Thread
Quick 10 lapper with a 5 minute tune netted me a 57.5, I could see a low 57 in it with adjustments/better driving.

Still mid to high 58s for me. I need to tinker more with the tune and maybe be a little more patient with the car.

Would kill for a ghost to follow in the last turn.... Tried different lines, just doesn't feel right... Maybe the turn just sucks?

58.736 after 25ish laps, should be able to get faster but I'm not a very good tuner.

Dont worry too much about your times now... Its a whole different game with 20 other cars on the track lolBuckeyeSpenser wrote:58.736 after 25ish laps, should be able to get faster but I'm not a very good tuner.

Quick question about tuning this thing. Are people tending to go stiffer springs or softer?
Re: TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Lap times Thread
Any clue how to set a ghost or check time of friends in this game?

Re: TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Lap times Thread
To check the times, go to Freeplay, then when you go to select location, hit X to see the layouts, then Y to see the leaderboard. Because the car isn't homologated, it shows literally ALL cars that don't fit homologation, so you'll want to sort it by Friends or the Near Me filter.
Can't get ghosts unless it's a rivals event, as of now.
