TORA Carrera Cup Winter Series - Silverstone

Hi all,

As we head into round 2 can I please ask that all competitors make sure they are aware of the following points;

- Live Timing is an essential tool!
Please make sure that you are aware of your qualifying lobby. These are set on Saturday evening/Sunday morning so there's plenty of time to check.
During the gap between qualifying and the race please ensure you check the screen again to confirm your lobby and position.

- Communcation:
Obviously there are still issues with Party Chat/Game Chat. We all know this and there's very little TORA can do structurally to change this. What we can do is request that each host makes the drivers aware of their grid positions prior to the races. However, drivers can help themselves by checking Live Timing (as above).
Hosts always do their utmost to ensure the smooth running of the event so please do your part as well to help them out. Remember - we're all volunteers here and are in it for fun just as much as anyone else.

- Attendance:
Qualifying will start at 8pm prompt. If drivers are not in their lobbies by that time without good reason, the session will start without them.
Given the numbers we are dealing with for this series we are not able to accept entries after the sign in closes. Please ensure you sign in with good time and remember the sheet updates pretty quickly so if you are not showing shortly after you've signed in please try again or contact a member of staff to assist.
Absolutely NO entries will be accepted on Sunday.
Late entries (those who miss qualifying but are able to make a race) will be accepted based on lobby space and is at the discretion of Race Control.

All of the above is to ensure that the event runs as smoothly as possible for ALL competitors.

Please remember that qualifying has been reduced to TEN minutes with the session set to 15 to allow hosts to get the times.

Can you confirm that qualifying begins at 8pm London time, which I believe is in 2.5 hours?

Everything seemed to go pretty smoothly today! Apart from T10 just borking the game so that custom liveries don't work in multiplayer...

Nice racing w/ RR, Hamish, and Eggy today!
