Seen the thread today with the StoreFront shot... deffo confirms New York (mulitple versions) and Sunset Infield
That makes three ovals so far then.

i think the donington thing is a cover up, because i have heard from other sources that it will be on it.

keep it unconfirmed for now, but i live in belief it will be on it.

T10 have said there will be an Aussie track on the game, and theres really only three Aussie tracks well known enough to be worth putting on there, and thats Adelaide, Melbourne and Bathurst. Mabey Surfers Paradise in the states cos CART used to go there. My prediction is that Bathurst will be there. As for Donnington, im not sure, we already have Silverstone on there, but we shall wait patiently for a UK car/track reveal soon. As for the rest of europe, I have a strange feeling Spa will be there, its in loads of games like NFS and GRID and Supercar Challenge. We definetaly need more street circuits, Long Beach is at the top of my list for them. As far as Ovals go, I wouldn't mind seeing Bristol or Talladega in there, would be awsome fun.

I agree nicky, I'll say that Bathurst is almost a certainty, if not for initial launch then deffo DLC.
I'd expect another Aussie track or at the very least another REAL street circuit but probably as DLC. My bets wil either be Adelaide or Long Beach.

Donny is interesting, I'm not sure what to think about that to be honest. Coul have been a genuine mistake, could have been a slip up. With the new GP track not available for data gathering it would have to be the existing circuits which wouldn't look good come 2010 when they would then be out of date.

My faves for DLC potential:

Spa: As said it's in alot of other games and the demand is clearly there for this amazing track.
Donny: More likely as DLC when the GP track can be properly mapped.
Monza: Again, in a fair few games lately and fairly good fun. Also a fair bit of demand for it.
ALMS tracks: Bearing in mind the series prediliction with this sportscar series wit would make sense to add a few more US circuits like Mid Ohio and Watkins Glen.

Cars?
Well the list is going VERY well and it seems like pretty much everyone is getting what they want to date (except the GTR).
Expect a Le Mans DLC pack with the '09 908, R15 and Lola Aston Martin at the very least.
Continuing with sportscars I'd expect the Corvette GT2 to make an appearance and the Vantage GT2 in Drayson paint.
And the GTR? If the licencing issues are resolved I can see this beeing added in quick order.

The only track I want to see added to FM3 via DLC or right away in the game is Thruxton.

Thats like the equivelant of putting Falkenberg, Sweden in the game. Would be awsome, I love that track, but very unlikely.

can we have an outline of what that link is for the lazier of our members?(like me)

after watching that YouTube vid of the simulated flying lap of the Donington F1 circuit, FM3 better have it!

Yes there is that simulation but what I meant was for all the other real tracks no doubt they have been out there taken pictures, collected their own data etc etc etc.
How accurate is that sim? Are the gradients right? What about the buildings? The walls in places seem far too high. Its dangerous to rely on anothers work to make your own. Especially something with the discerning community such as FM3. The sort of people who pick up on a light cluster not being quite right..... I rest my case

yes, they would go and take pictures, angles, gradients etc... But by now Donington will have got full blue prints of what they intend to make, they will have the gradients and all the information needed to begin making it. Unless they come across a hill they didnt realise was there, hidden behind a portaloo, im sure they know 100% what the circuit will look like when its done. They could easily use a sucessful platform as forza to build the media coverage for the circuits 2010 grand prix as well as the venue as a whole, and give Turn 10 all the information needed to create the circuit on the game.

Well, It'll be in the next F1 game anyway. And then T10 will probably end up making it DLC if there is demand for it. There's always Forza 4

Hopefully some big Ferrari news today would be nice

And maybe some old euro hatch specials
