TORA ASCC - April Fools

Welcome to Round 3 of the American Sports Car Championship Season 2.  We are truly embracing the "Americas" in this year's ASCC championship by making a stop in South America, in the lovely Rio de Janiero.  Created as a tech demo, Rio de Janiero joined the Forza franchise's long list of fantasy tracks.  Inspired by the cobblestone streets of the Brazilian city where it gets its name, Rio is a mixture of tight city streets that make the track challenging for any driver.  We will be using the tight and bumpy Mountain Circuit Reverse layout of the circuit.  


Qualifying - Qualifying will take place 1-hour prior to race start time (2:00 pm EDT/7:00 pm BST).  Drivers will have 15 minutes to set their fastest, clean lap. Remember that drivers should be/appear online 15 minutes prior to qualifying start, and should keep in-lobby chat to a minimal.  
 
Race - The race will be a timed race lasting 90 minutes.  The lobby will be set to 1hr 40 minutes to allow time for drivers to finish the race and collect times.  A change this year is that the race time will include the pace lap, so drivers are asked to get into their grid positions as quickly as possible.  When 90 minutes has passed, drivers will continue to race until they race the start finish line.  Drivers will then line in in finishing order in Turn 1. 
 
Pit Stops - Since the Rio Mountain Circuit Reverse does not have a pit lane, the damage during the race will be set to Cosmetic.

This is a dumb choice of track for this series, makes no sense at all, sorry but bad decision guys.

So all the practise that some of us have done is totally [Censored] pointless? Cheers for that. What a waste of the time I've not really got spare to start with.

Well, to be honest, this was posted before midday in America.
