Le Mans Spotter Guide Photos

Howdy!

This year, we will be adding a spotter guide to the existing race live timing doc!

This means that during the race, the guide will automatically update positions, stint stats, and driver changes.

However, this will require some community involvement.

Note: to participate in the race, your team must submit a correctly captured spotter guide photo.

Here's what I need!

Step 1

Ensure your livery is rules compliant.

Step 2

Load up Monza (any variant), and keep reloading it until you get an overcast skybox.

Step 3

There's a small white area on the pit wall just before start finish. Park your car as close to that wall as you can!
Then, line up your camera so it's parallel to the car and wall, then move back as far as you can while zoomed all the way out.



Step 4

Now zoom in such that the white line at the bottom of the 2nd pic here is just at the bottom of the screen. Now use the left and right d-pad buttons to make it level with the bottom of the frame.



Step 5

Zoom out until your entire car almost fills the screen.



Step 6

Adjust your settings so they match mine, from top to bottom, and turn on your headlights:

Step 7

Send me the photo by hosting it on Imgur, Servimg, Flickr (full size must be accessible), or XBOXDVR.

If it's not right, you will be asked to repeat the process.

Please re-do the Forzamotorsport.pl entry pic. You need to make sure the car is level. Right now, the front is too high, so it won't crop properly.

The Pachura car is correct.
