Who's the new guy?

Well, well, well...

This place has changed A LOT in the last 5 or so years...

For those that don't know me, I'm not exactly new, just returning. My name is Bradley (old GT was ErebusV8 for those still confussed by who I am), I'm from Australia and I like to spend too much money to race pretend cars on pretend tracks instead of doing my uni work. I'm 25, and I ride motorbikes and that's kind of all that is interesting about me... I joined a small site called TORA in 2011 when it had around 800 members or so (instead of the 8711 at the time of this post) and I was known for 2 things, having a typically bad Australian internet connection that caused me to lag everywhere, and for usually sleeping past race starts because who wants to wake up at 5am to race... (most of us I know), the former of those two is now fixed (ish, Aus NBN is still garbage).
I raced, stewarded, media teamed and community teamed at one point during my stint here before buying a wheel and moving to PC where I now race (predominantly) iRacing and ACC. I currently drive for an Australian team called NSR Esports, recently winning the Aus time slot Daytona 24h top split in GTE and coming 7th in a hosted Bathurst 12h (with professional esports teams as well).

For those that do know me, just ignore everything about because you know most of that... I missed you guys and going through some of the post brought back a lot of nostalgia!!

I'm looking at getting into some iRacing series if you guys are still running them, or ACC if it's on PC.

That's a name from way back when!

A blast from the past, indeed. I'm also coming back to do a bit of racing; I've been away from the virtual track for several years too. I'll be looking to race in FM7 series', but I really am quite rusty. I've just signed up for Naffcar, so I'll be 'on track' next week.

I hope that someone can point me to an 'idiots-guide' on how to join a game and set up the lobby etc.? As I say, this is my first time back for quite a few years, so I am a rookie once again.

I too just received an email from tora re the naffcar and have just signed up.

Just been racing lobbies etc for a while or doing real life stuff.
But can you believe I've still got the same gamer tag after all this time.
Erebus man its been a long time. I too joined way way back, we only had enough racers to fill one lobby back in the first year of tora. Seems like a million years ago. I originally left as the racing got political and freinds were pulling strings on stewards enquiries causing unfair outcomes.
Lets see how this goes, fingers crossed.
