If you didnt see this, well, watch it, even skip to the last 20 minutes when James travels above the atmosphere, breathtaking, that small segment alone makes you think.
Anyway, il let you guys judge

i've seen the saturn 5 before at the space and rocket center in huntsville, it's an awesome looking thing...amazing that something that looks like that could be taken into space.

Re: James May on the Moon
Went to Kennedy a few years back and was just.... in awe at the whole thing.
Missed a launch by a day but got to see it on tv which was awesome. Seeing the shuttle on the platform ready to go was humbling to say the least. The place oozes history. I loved it!!!!!

oh wow, i got to see the shuttle on the launch pad too down there.
it was more than a few years ago...i think i was like 11-10 when i went down there...but i remember it like it was yesterday. i was down there for space camp and we missed the shuttle launch by a week.
did they show you the big-ass building that they store it in and that huge vehicle that they take it from the assembly building to the launch site? it's maximum speed is like .8 mph or something like that. amazing stuff.

Re: James May on the Moon
nah.
if we were, we'd still be doing splashdown landings in the southern atlantic ocean rather than strapping the orbiter onto the back of a modified 747.
