29th June - Test Session's kind of go well
Over the last four days, J.Wynder was joined by AJzero at two test locations. One being Motegi, which did not go well.
However the test session at Road Atlanta was far better, mainly because Jamie's best lap time was under a second from AJzero's best lap time. But J.Wynder did reveal, why he could not beat AJzero's best lap time at Road Atlanta.
The number 9 driver is looking forward to the first race meeting.

I'm looking forward to your protest over the legality of my car at around 21:00 on Saturday!

Re: Peugeot Sport Total - Team News
I am not French, so how can I protest. Also the Audi that the French complained about is something else.
Anyway do you want the garlic, that Peugeot keeps serving me.

Thanks for the comment on the shots, but I am still very happy Matt worked on the paint job. Mainly because I am a better photographer then painter, other then that I will try to produce some better edited shots in the near future.
Which would see me do stuff like car clean up and so forth.

Re: Peugeot Sport Total - Team News
It was a bugger to get done but once I found where it went it was a damn sight easier to paint up. The only bit I couldn't really locate was the 'front wing' pylons. I don't even think you can. But oh well.

7th July - First Races goes ok[/u]
Jamie today came out and spoke about his race, which he feels could of gone a little bit better, if he did not spin it three times on one lap. Mainly because before the first spin happened the number 9 driver was catching up a past team mate.
But on the whole J.Wynder is happy how his un-tested setup went, which resulted in a podium finish. Also when asked about what the race felt like, this is what he had to say:
"Some of the race was kind of like a test for the tune. Mainly because I did not know how the car would handle from it's default setup"
Also when asked about his pit strategy, this is what he had to say:
"The reason I was one of the first to pit, was to try to improve my chances of getting a podium. But if I didn't spin out in the race as much, then I would of pitted later on."

12th July - Testing for Silverstone to happen soon
Speaking ahead of the next round, J.Wynder has revealed he would like to maybe challenge for first place in the next race. But for this to happen, the driver will have to put his head down, however when speaking about his history on Silverstone.
This is what the driver had to say:
"Silverstone has always been a 50/50 track for me, some years it goes well and some it does not go so well. But I am hoping this wild card track goes well for me this year.
However if I don't finish 1st in the Silverstone race, then my next target is 2nd."
Also speaking ahead of the last race, J.Wynder did say this:
"Their is a small chance, that the championship for the LMP1's might go down to the last race."

14th July - Latest Test goes well
After returning from the latest test session at Silverstone GP, this is what J.Wynder had to say:
"The team has been working for a while on an improved tune for the Silverstone GP round, and well the team has done it. My previous best time with the old setup was a 1:30.733, but after an hour of testing I got my best time down to a 1:29.647.
However I still feel I can improve in one of the corners after section 1, which could bring my time down by a bit more."

Re: Peugeot Sport Total - Team News
19th July - J.Wynder has his best chance at 1st chance, but finishes 3rd
While finishing 3rd in Sebring round was mainly down to not handling the car right and lack of time with it, Jamie this evening had his best chance to claim 1st.
But Jamie tells, which 1st did not happen for the Silverstone round:
"I feel the first thing, that did not help was because of my pit stragey for this round. At times it looked like I was going to get past AJzero after coming out of the pit after my first stop, but it was not going to happen."
After this pitstop J.Wynder was only 200 yards behind AJzero, which the english driver was trying his hardest to close. And at times it looked like it, mainly because Jamie feels he had more grip for this round over AJzero and Crisis Nine.
Next Reason, why the race could of gone better
Jamie revealed the next reason, which was not down to him. But this is how J.Wynder nearly said he had a great chance to hold onto first once he pitted after AJzero:
"About 15-20 laps in, I got out of the pits in front of AJzero. But when it was looking all rosey, I got caught up in traffic. Which did not please me, mainly because I had to slow right down not to take out a GT1 car.
And because of this AJzero caught me up again, and did not pass me. That is of course until a couple corners later, which was when AJzero passed me.
After that I thought the short end of the straw was starting vanish, but I was wrong."
What happened after lap 38-40
This was when Jamie was catching up AJzero and Crisis Nine due to traffic, and when the driver thought he could pass. The number 9 driver had to make a quick turn to get pass the same GT1 car that the driver first had problems getting past early in the race, and well it was a bit better this time.
Mainly because he just got pass, but Crisis Nine was right on his side. Once that action was over the driver had to make a pitstop, and while in the pits it felt like a war movie with the amount of action happening.
Lap 45-48
This was where it started to get good again, mainly because traffic caused the number 9 driver to catch up. And when this moment happened, this was the best moment the driver had in his LMS season.
Mainly because he got past AJzero and Crisis Nine without any problems. But 3-4 corners later, the driver got spun out by Crisis Nine. However this is what J.Wynder had to say:
"While I am not happy with losing two places at the start of the moment, mainly because it looked like the race was turning around for me. I am happy Crisis Nine was being a sportsman a couple seconds later, mainly because he let me have 2nd back.
Which I thank him for."
After that intresting moment, which could of gone better. The number 9 driver had to pit again, which meant he had no further chance at getting 1st or 2nd back.
Final Thoughts from the driver
"With the car getting better for me, along with me getting more use to the 908 HDi Fap. I feel I can still get one or two first places.
Other then that, I will need to pick myself up for the next race and try again."

Next Stop J.Wynder
The next race meeting in any type of series, that the english driver is attending is:
WTCC "Pro Touring Cars" - Curitiba

2nd August - Another race goes down the drain
J.Wynder today was not happy with some of his peformance, mainly down to the pit stragey. However Jamie feels he can still get at least one 1st place this season, but when asked about his battle with Crisis.
This is what the driver said: "After the race I told Crisis I was not counting my chicken's until the last 10 minutes. Which came true, but if the english driver was 600 yards because Crisis during the last 7-12 minutes instead of the last 4 minutes.
Then I feel I could of had 3rd place. But any who I must pick myself up again and try again."
Also when asked about the Duncan and AJzero's finishing positions the driver had this to say:
"I would like Tora to bring in a drug testing program to try to make sure the drivers are not taking steroids. While I am not saying those two took steroids, it does seem weird, how they were about 3000-4000 yards ahead of me and Crisis.
Unless Duncan and AJzero have nuclear reactors in their cars."

23rd August - J.Wynder pulls out of the LMS
Jamie today pulled out of the LMS on race day, due to mixed feelings and different thoughts over two moments between J.Wynder and another driver.
Who the team and Jamie will not name. However the driver did say the one of the moments happened in qualifying, which he feels he did cleaney.
And the other moment happened last week.

If you want to get team points still, i would love to make a guest appearence for you. sorry to hear you leaving :'( i liked reading about the audi/peugeot battles
Re: Peugeot Sport Total - Team News
Personally Jamie I think you're acting stupidly.
You need to understand how multi class racing works. NO other drivers have the same issue concerning passing lower class cars. You need to take the initiative in that situation. The slower car will not take you off.
You HAVE to act with a little more sense and remember your race craft.
Pulling out over somethign that happened a WEEK ago is ridiculous.

Re: Peugeot Sport Total - Team News
What i think he was trying to say was that this was a largely unforseen problem and extra layer to the racing which he feels detracts from the racing enough to make it unenjoyable for him, in which case he probably did the right thing pulling out.
NEVER Race if your not enjoying it anymore (thats why i quit GT's half way through.)
