Welcome to the TORA 90's Improved Production Car Championship!
This championship will be hosted on Forza Motorsport 7 and consist of 6 rounds.
Each round will consist of three races, each of equal length.
Qualifying will not be run, with the first race grid instead randomised, and the second and third race grids based on results from the previous race, with a full inversion in the case of the second race.
By registering for the series, you agree to the rules and regulations written in this thread and the TORA Driver’s Handbook. Please take time to carefully review the following regulations carefully before entry. TORA reserves the right to alter this rules package as needed for the purpose of fairness and clarity in competition.

This rules package is not fully inclusive. Please refer to the TORA Driver’s Handbook for full definitions of terms relating to basic regulation in TORA competition. Note that specific rules for this series will take precedence over rules outlined in the Driver’s Handbook:

1. Championships
    1.1 Driver’s Championship
This will be a competition between every registered driver regardless of team affiliation. The points at the end of this series will be the final total after the inclusion of ONE dropped round.
    1.2 Teams Championship
This will be a competition fought by a group of 2 Competitors. The points at the end of this series will be the final total after the inclusion of ONE dropped round.
Both drivers in a team DO NOT need to use the same car.
    1.3 Privateer’s Championship
This will be a competition between competitors not registered to a team. The points at the end of this series will be the final total after the inclusion of ONE dropped round.
    1.4 Dropped Rounds:
The dropped round will be the competitor’s lowest score. This includes rounds with scores of 0 points, but not rounds when the competitor received a penalty.

2. Livery Rules
2.1 This series has defined livery rules that each Competitor must adhere to in order to participate. Failure to do so may suspend participation or result in a disqualification.
Livery requirements are at the link below:

3. Car and Build Rules
3.1 This series has a defined build, or list of cars with defined builds that each Competitor must adhere to in order to participate.
Failure to do so may suspend participation or result in a disqualification. Build requirements are at the link below:

4. Hosting and Marshals
4.1 A race may be split into multiple, numbered lobbies depending on the amount of registered drivers.
Each lobbies will be hosted by chosen members of the Marshal Team or TORA Staff designated as the Lobby Host.
4.1.1 Communication for this series will be run through Discord voice channels in the TORA server.
4.2 Members of the Marshal Team who have registered but are not designated as a Lobby Host may be expected to host in situations in which they are needed.
4.3 The host of each lobby will be expected to gather data, position Competitors and ensure that regulations are followed.
4.4 In-game lobby settings must be followed and are linked below:

5. Qualifying
5.1 The fastest, clean lap from a Competitor, as denoted by the timers in the game will be recorded for qualifying.
5.2 Qualifying sessions will last 5 minutes, with drivers being permitted to complete their active lap as time expires.
5.3 The Lobby Host will record the results. These results will be used to determine the lobby splits.
5.4 Qualifying will only take place if the entry list exceeds the capacity for a single lobby. If the list does not exceed the capacity for a single lobby, a warmup session of equivalent length will take place instead.

6. Race Starts
6.1 The start of each race of each round will be a delayed standing start.
6.2 During a delayed start, the race will begin at 10 seconds on the race clock.

7. Series Format
7.1 The grid for the first race will be randomised amongst the drivers present for the round.
7.2 The grid for the second race will be the full inverse of the finishing results of the first race.
7.3 The grid for the third race will be the finishing results of the second race.
7.4 A wet round will feature one race in wet conditions as laid out in the calendar. The race to be wet will be random.

8. Safety Car
8.1 A safety car may only be called if three (3) or more cars are damaged in the same incident.

9. Pit Stops
9.1 There is no mandatory pit stops.
9.2 Competitors are allowed to pit as needed for damage to their car in the case of an incident.

10. Race Finish
10.1 The race will run until the leader commences the final lap of the session. At that point, the leader will continue around the track and park up in a safe place, and the rest of the field will then park up in finishing order behind them. The Lobby Host will then collect the results, and only once the Lobby Host gives permission, may the field finish the final lap and the session.

11. Championship Calendar
11.1 The championship calendar is at the following link:

12. Postponed/Cancelled Meetings
12.1 Sometimes a round/meeting may be postponed. TORA Staff and the Race Director will decide whether the meeting is cancelled or moved elsewhere on the calendar.
