Calm down ladies, we all have our favourite drivers and we can argue over who is better or worse all night long, but this sums up the 08 season as a whole for ferrari after being let off with so much and getting backed by the FIA...

This could go on for days, lets cut the arguing and have a discussion. I don't see why bans should be getting thrown about and threads locked over different views on formula 1. Hamilton won the championship, massa was very very close and lewis was also very very lucky in that race. He has been put through so much over the last season with obvious penatlies that he did not deserve and obvious penalties that ferrar got away with. Lewis won the championship by one point, thats how much kimi won it with last year. Every driver in F1 is brilliant becaus ethey are the top racing drivers in the world.

Ah, it's all light hearted on this end and extreme jealous...er respect is held for all the F1 drivers past and current.

I disagree.

Lewis was running net 4th before the rain.
Status quo says everyone pits.
Lewis was running net 5th during the rain.
Glock did not pit.
Glock lost more time by not pitting than he would have done pitting. (see spa 08 for further proof)
Lewis finishes 5th.
If you want to be an idiot and say on drys then thats your funeral.

sorry but i do think he was lucky. if glock hadn't slpiied around on the last lap then he would have finished 6th and lost. glock was running well on the dry tires and was running at the same pace as lewis and vettel up until the last lap where the rain came thundering down. if the rain had hald off for another 30 seconds or so then glock would have managed to keep the momentum going to finish in 5th

yh it was close but i can never see hamilton gettin uncocky now! hope Vettel puts him in his place in the Red Bull next season
