BRITCAR 2-4 October. SIGN UPS OPEN ;)

THIS THREAD IS FOR POSTING 'IN' OR GENERAL CHAT ABOUT THIS EVENT.....

The race, will take place around the SILVERSTONE GP circuit.

The sprint race will consist of 8 racing laps and one cooldown lap to collate times.
The feature race will consist of 25 racing laps.

Please make sure that you have a contact number (nearer the time should we lose you or you lose us), something to keep you dry at night... I suggest a tent rather than a box or newspaper, food and/or drinks (to be used as bribes for the officials) and of course a sense of humour.

All members wishing to participate, please post an 'IN' in this thread.

Live Timing will be available throughout the event by I dunno, listening to Silverstone FM or some clever thing AJ will probably do.

So whos coming and what days are you attending and are you camping on site?

So far i can confirm me and marie are oming on the saturday and sunday and camping on saturday night.

Me and Karen defo sunday and probally saturday too and camping

I am a maybe at the moment, but if I was able to get some time to attend this. Then what are the chances of someone being able to pick me up from the nearest train station and maybe giving me a lift back.

Mainly because I would only be able to fit one day in. But that is if I can get some free time.

White Rabbit aren't doing booking yet but I know a few people who have used that before and said it was good.
MAJOR benefit of this one i being INSIDE the track througought so if you need to fetch things or wanna have a mid afternoon nap you don't even have to leave the track!!

If you're planning on camping with us then the booking page is now open.
I'd suggest standard as I've read on their forums that we would still be allowed to us the Premium Showers should we so desire.

I think I'm gonna have to change to an out now Usn has something on that weekend, and I'm sorry but I don't think I could spend over 6 hours driving down the road myself.

Will everyone be staying for the whole race on Saturday, because the only late trains. That I can catch back to Hampshire run between 7pm-10pm, unless anyone attending this race lives close to Hampshire or within Hampshire.

JAMIE as far as i understand it most people who are coming are staying im sure there'll be a spare car seat or sleeping bag somewhere.
