Hey buddy it took awhile for me to learn but its basically control. First you have to click the e-brake to get into drift. Next position the car where your comfortable and counter steer. keep it like that making adjustments so you dont hit the walls and go around the corner. while in your drift keep in mind to not hit the throttle to much and keep it at the right amount so you get enough speed. but not to much that you spin out. You gotta test around and get use to just ONE car first and practice with the fundamentals of drifting. then move on to faster cars when you get the hang of it. hope this helps buddy. Very Happy

Cheers, I think one of the main problems I was finding was that I had too much grip even with stock tires. Every time I turned into the drift to start it the car just keeps going round and I can't bring it back. If I put some opposite turn on The car either just doesn't respond and keeps going round or it grips and turns instantly sending the car off awat from the drift. I think I just need to be a bit more persitant lol

if the car just slides and stops you probably need more power, try using 3rd gear a lot.

i actually found a decent car for myself that has a bunch of power that i can also control in a drift. and its not AWD. Laughing

i was building the '02 Trans Am to make a vintage IROC livery, and started running the season mode with it with the event that uses the Trans Am's. with 600hp @ Tsukuba Short, i was able to control the thing rather well! i might just try it at Fujimi. Razz

oh, i just remembered something after i saw the pic AJ posted. Has anyone else noticed the enterance to the pit lane at Catalunya damages your car? i just decided to try it once, and it scuffed up my left front quarter panel!!

HLC Season 2 Final Recap
Season 2 of the Hot Lap Challenge is now complete and many of the battles I mentioned last week really did have an effect on the standings.

In Tier 1 PLOW Champion stopped XTreMe x SkiLLs run for four straight top times with a great finish to the season but, as mentioned last week, there really was no stopping XTreMe from taking home the overall win in Tier 1. XTreMe finished off the season with a 920 point lead over PLOW Champion. The only question remains is if XTreMe can stay this dominant next season?

Congrats to Xtreme! Spoke to him a while ago, the guy is a bloody animal. Has huge amounts of patience too, I could never run 100's of laps on Forza. Those days are over for me, unless FM4 is more like FM1. So obvious he was going to win, I personally think PpR 3wide is about the only guy that can really give him a run for his money. But 3wide plays iRacing, like most these days.

Don't believe Xtreme still races for himself, after he left RSI I half expected him to turn up at V12.

Lol I completely forgot to even run a banker on the last 2 or 3 HLC's. Can't be bothered with Forza anymore.

Xtreme runs too many laps and hides his replays so you cant see he did 500 laps for one time! No way I can do that and don't forget about Daveyskills guys. He is there somewhere lurking, just waiting on FM4
