My controller died just after giving me one warning. I was stuck doing donuts under the bridge so I jammed the power button to try to clear
my car as quick as possible. Apologies if it messed up anyones race.

I'm really pissed off right now, being I lose power with 2 laps to go... We were just talking about it happening again and when I said "I hope not," I get a black screen and xbox off. Really pissed off since I had two GT1 cars behind me and a GT2, my teammate behind me. I had some nice points coming to me, and BOOM, there they go.

Re: 2009 Petit LeMans - Road Atlanta - Sunday 16th August - 8PM Sign Ups Closed
B lobby had some good racing. But i had no consistency and was getting more and more fustrated every lap. It was very close between myself, General and Redbeard through out the whole race.
I thought i had secured 2nd with only a few mins left and then BANG im in the wall, as i was recovering Redbeard obviously didn't see me and was coming round that corner at high speed (That TVR is stupid quick in a straight line).
Im a bit annoyed with myself as ive not been getting into Lobby A recently and i keep making stupid mistakes, but then again im not a big fan of R.A and the only track i am looking forward to is Suzuka. Im not sure if i even want to race on the Nurburg yet.

that TVR is proper quick in a straight line...it went like that for the first 10-13 laps. redbeard would pull on the straight, then stoner and i would reel him in the corners...then we all three got bunched up there for awhile and it was just back and forth changing places. god it was good racing...very little contact and lots of side by side through the corners. happy to get 4th place in GT1. kinda miffed that i missed out on a-lobby, but definitely happy with the result.
i'm still a bit confused about the lap things though. i was going over the finish line with a 1 hour and 14 minutes and like 54-55 seconds. so then redbeard and slim passed at above the one hour and 15 minute mark. wouldnt that mean that i'm a lap ahead of them? or no?
oh and my fastest lap time of the race was like a 1:16.545 oh and i aint on goodyears. i'm on the plow magic tires

Sadly that's not the first time that's happened. In Season 3 I came ound that corner to find a Murcielago pointing head-on at me.
That didn't end well either... i'm pretty sure there's some pics on here somewhere

I still don't know what the hell happened. Last time, at Silverstone, I happened on lap 24 out of 25 and this time, with about 2 minutes to go. I am literally clueless about what is going on since its only my room, and as soon as it goes off, it comes back on. All I can go with is that the A/C kicked on and between my 360, TV and A/C, something didn't go well. Of course, xbox isn't any help either.

it was scary... you guys were just talking about it after he said he'd seen lightening, then someone said 'uh oh' and 2 seconds later he was gone.

that was unfortunate Rogue. but if that tire barrier against that wall didnt stick out as far as it does, i might not have tagged the wall when trying to avoid you. but it was fun. BTW Rogue, i get home by about 5pm est (thatd be 10 for you if im not mistaken), so once i get home, i'll put one of those BMW's up on the AH for you(24hrs-unfeatured)

I really didn't appreciate how much time I'd be spending looking in my mirrors for lmp1 cars. I tried my best to keep out of the road but ended up putting it on the grass more often than not.
I think Rogue came past me on the first corner, I got badly out of shape not realising AJ was just behind too, cut straight across him and I honestly don't know how he avoided me. I would get a picture of it but I can't think of anything worse than spending 5 minutes skipping through however many laps.

I don't know about that we were both almost in the pit lane exit. I take it no-one had any problems with a TVR doing a burnout before the last corner then?
