Save yourself from screaming at your TV screen and throwing your controller and write it down here, chances are we can all sympathise.

You know whats getting on my nerves right now?

People who race online and have no idea whats going on around them or with their fellow racers.

A few minuets ago i was in a Lobby doing U-class oval racing, as you can imagine it was the usual GT40 fest with only myself and one other guy not in one.

Anyways one of the Gt40's gets taken out by the TVR and then they sit there and blame me, even though i've watched the accident, driven away and the TVR has sat their spinning down the wall smacking into the side of their car!

Of copurse they were adament that it was me that took them out and were getting proper arsey about it. Calling me names and everything, even though it wasnt even me!!!

What annoys me is how someone can have no idea who is around them at any time when there racing? The ammount of bloody monitoring equipment Forza give you you should always know where people are!!

I know everytime I'm racing im always looking at the readout telling me where people are as well as the blips on the map.

It amazes me how some people can be so self arrogant even when they have no bloody clue what there on about!!!

(Just for the Record I can't imagine racing without TORA, you seem to sheild us from the Self arrogant a-Hole drivers that populate and inordinate ammount of the open races online!)

What really ticks me off is AWD. Not just the normal, "Jump into an A Class race and everyone is in a leaderboard AWD, but the ones that expect whatever car your driving to be as good as theirs after takeoff.

Not too long ago, I was in a Maple Valley lobby. There was 7 players including me. I had my Viper, and some other guy had a GTi. The rest were scattered between Mugen Integras, Evo 10's, 22bs, F335 Challenge, etc.

I started third with a Mugen behind me. RWD + AWD = Major accel difference. Collisions on, and when the green flag, he just accelerated and rear-ended me! He didn't even move around me! The only good part was that Mugens are held together with nothing, so when he hit me, his car started billowing smoke.

I came in 2nd that race, lost to the GTi. I didn't have much damage, since he hit me at like 20 mph, just a chunk of my car was messed up. It really aggravates me when some people think that they're always right.

2nd good time. I was running 10 laps Suzuka in the same Viper. Same AWD cars as always, and I was leading. Some guy got ticked off when I spun my tires at the hairpin right after the bridge and "should've" (keyword) slowed down He bumped me out of the way and I was sent into the grass losing 3 positions. They weren't impressive racers since they were always running off the track. It also helped that the two players wrecked themselves right in front of me . So with 2 or 3 laps left, I caught up to the guy while having a WRX up my butt (figure of speech). When I got the 1st place ."spinner" I bumped him to get him off the track. I didn't know that he couldn't drive for crap and would spin onto the track, taking out the WRX with himself. He was saying some things to me afterwards, so thank god for Block Communications.
That is why I rarely race online anymore randomly, especially Career.

thats why you set up your lobbies and force RWD.

what kills me are people who talk about thier laptimes and instantly ASSUME that good laps translate to good racing, i know someone whos like, "look at my times on the test tracks! theyre soo much higher than yours!" im like, yeah i never run the test tracks and then goes on about his laps on tracs that i havent races in a class since winter, (ie new york) also all my racing is done with rwd cars, such as the viper. i occasinally hotlap in awd because i find AWD cheating in racing, this guy does everything with awd (except when it comes to the gt2s )

I don't really watch that much tv but...

Lenny Henry in those Premier Travel Tavern/Lodge/Inn/Break adverts.
Iggy Pop for doing that Swiftcover advert (which got pulled as they don't cover musicians).
We buy any car...you know the one.
Anyone from the Confused.com advert...although I've got a two of them in mind.
And finally the complete bell end from those 3 adverts which bookend every single Channel 4 comedy programme.

Oh god Iggy Pop makes me cringe!!!!
Anyway about racing....
As most of you know I do like to champion women in motorsport, indeed the ONLY female racer we've had was my ex. Some of you raced with her in Season 1 (she got a podium on her debut at Road America.)
Now, when she started racing she used to mess about in a Cobalt I set up for her and used to make mincemeat of lads in random lobies to earn her cash for the bigger stuff.
Now what we both took umbridge with was these ....Americans (sorry but it was mainly them) who were always going on, oh there's NO WAY thats a girl racing! She's too good, it's a bloke pretending. No way is a GIRL better than me!
That really grinds my gears!!
Why pray tell can't a girl be as good if not better than blokes at racing games? I don't come across women racers often but if I did and she was better than me I'd be like wow, good for you.
There are, don't forget, some VERY good females racing in real life. Danica for one but in the Ginetta Juniors Sarah Moore is the one leading the championship..... one driver out of what, 30?

Ive just spent an hour dismantling my old computer because my brother thought it would be a good idea to cable tie everything to everything every two inches!!!

oo oo I could do with a rant.

I have to travel over 100 miles, about 2 hours and a tank of fuel, to go and see my training advisor...for a 30 mins meeting. During said meeting I will be unable to show him anything as I have not been offshore for 2 months now and have done diddly squat at home (who would?) Then he gets to have a rant at me for not doing anything, where I will reply by saying its hard to write about doing jobs when I never get the chance to go and do them. Especially as I wasn't allowed off during a Shut Down which would have given me an excellent chance to practice at things and it would have been very valuable. Then I get to drive all the way back down for 2 hours.

Fantastic.
