GT1 WINNER!!!
Fuel Mileage provails! Man was that a close call.
I knew i had a fast car, but seeing Laguna Seca isnt one of my favorite tracks, and my consistency isnt great there (or anywhere really), i knew i had to try something to compansate. i knew my Ford was quick in the one or two practice runs i did. When i saw Butcher, then DAN pit the first time, i looked at my fuel gauge, and thought "I can stretch it..", and so i did. All the way past the 37minute mark. By the time i reached my pit stall, the Race timer had reached 38Min:05Sec, and knew i was going to be able to make it from there. And indeed i did. On the 'White Flag Lap', i watched the Fuel gauge as the sliver of White went as thin as a hair around the last couple corners.
After times were collected, i tried to see how much further the fuel wouldve gone, and not soon after i left Turn 1, it started sputtering going into Turn 2!!! and went completely empty going to towards Rahal Straight, and ended up parking it past the sign. Great race!!
now to build a trophy case!

i'm still confused about the way the end laps work.
congrats to switch for winning it all
also thank you everyone in B-lobby that was driving a GT3 car for being kind enough to get off the racing line to let me by...
and we had a very clean start and race if i say so myself.
especially as the only lobby with three classes running at once.

3 classes in one lobby. that must have been interesting. were you able to lap every other class?

True 'Dat.
It was really fun today, me being the only GT2 car racing. I was fearing the whole race about being shut off but it held off great. I had great fun today with the simple clean racing. Good Racing B Lobby!

You got the lap on me cause you pass the line b4 1 hr. 15.
Re: 2009 Monterey Sports Car Championship - Laguna Seca - Sunday 23rd August - 8pm BST Sign Ups Closed
right i see.
cause you were like 1300 meters behind me after your 2nd pit stop and i crossed the line at like 1:14.55
but i thought it was 1:15 + 1 lap.
so does that mean you get 55 and i get 56?

i don't know what happened to me... braking down to the first corner on lap whatever, i find myself back in the lobby!
i've had a couple hours to stew over it and will decide to put it down to experience...
apologies if my car(cass) cot in anyone's way.

Dunno, but I stayed on and Im happy. I moved some cables behind my Xbox around in case of heating problems. I dont know what causes it, but Ill do just about anything to fix it.

the extra heating may have pushed you over the top, the fans work really hard and POWER SURGE! i just need to dust my xbox every now and then
Re: 2009 Monterey Sports Car Championship - Laguna Seca - Sunday 23rd August - 8pm BST Sign Ups Closed
Yeah when I got my Xbox back, I just threw it back there with my power supply just thrown back there. I moved some stuff and hopefully did the trick.
