Clio Cup? Empty Clio Cup?

Post by STRAW Orange Fri 16 Oct 2009 - 12:03

Are there any plans to add a Clio Cup series to the calendar for next year? or next season?

Clio Cup racing is by far the most fun and close racing in my opinion. Its a complete equal playing field which makes it even more competitive. Also with the addition of Clio 197's as standard cars on Forza 3 it makes it even more appealing. Hopefully they'll add the RS200's as DLC too. Maybe even a proper Clio Cup Race Car? mhmm..

Im sure a few people would be up for it, i did a quick search and it came up with a test that went on? How'd that go?

Newbie here so sorry if its already been asked.

Sounds like a good idea for on FM3. Really its just a case of adding the race weight reduction, suspension, brakes, transmission and anti-roll bars, then adding Michelin race tyres, and bingo, clio cup car. Then getting a sticker set for the front end to give it the new nose facelift.

Clio Cup, I'm in Very Happy

If its run like the Supercup that I helped run a while ago it would be a good laugh.

Well like the new guy said it should be either spec or stock. Stock would be much easier but with the silly amount of options FM3 apparently has onlien maybe we can select exactly what the cars should have fitted to them and an exqact PI that every car should be at. I guess we will just have to wait and see what we can do with the cars in FM3. All I know is that the 197 will be my first ro second car, maybe I will have to take a Twingo first Razz

I say it doesnt have to be an exact pi that ends in a 00 or a 50, just put all the handling stuff on it and see what PI it comes out at to make them realistic. Should come out at around 600-odd if its done like a real clio cup car.

Yeah I agree, I originally suggested this aaaages ago but we never got round to it and people wanted downforce Razz In a series that me and Ian were in before TORA I made up a clio cup champ using rules like that, the PI was around 625 iirc. Really good racing aswell.

Wait till FM3, its only a week away.

Hahaha that is frighteningly true! I have a week off this week, and ive still to design an experiment for Physics, do a Chemistry past paper thingy, oh and do an English essay which determines wether I get dropped off the course or not.

I did like, two paragraphs of it today, and that was just Top gear on Dave making me do that, the procrastination levels would be through the roof with Forza 3!
