I'd be interested to see how big the gap is with the GT-R restricted and unrestricted w/power handicap. The handicap effectively means we only get a very small power increase over the restricted version.

the default tune on the unrestricted GT-R with the handicap, I ran a 1:51.665. Hadn't tried the restricted gt-r last night

You do NOT have to change. Look at me in the GT-R - the slowest in a straight line in GT1. Not whining about it, just realising, as you and others must, that the car list is INTENTIONALLY the way it is so that some cars are stronger than others on certain circuits. Take the pain on your weak ones, and make the most of your advantage on your strong ones.

Yeah but its so slow now, at EVERY track, now instad of being fast and not turning, its slow and doesnt turn. im two seconds slower at least than slider was at nurby and at least 2 seconds slower at road america (both are my best track) and theyre both very different circuits, I tested every GT2 car and they are at least one second slower, the only one that comes close is the M3, which is one second slower.

2:13ish in GT2... I'll be traveling again but I am going to try and make this meeting. Would anyone like to donate a few tuning tips for Road America? Looks like fairly low downforce due to the high speed straights but what do you guys do with the gearing? If anyone wants to donate I'd appreciate it! Thanks.

Just ran about 8 laps Last night with my nurburg GP tune, and managed a low 1:18. If I can focus on nailing a perfect lap, I think I MIGHT break into the 17's. Idk yet.

that was the case at Road America. i believe it was a 15% power & 5% grip handicap (i might have those numbers mixxed up), which resulted in a great battle among all the GT1 cars last meeting. not sure how that handicap will work out at Laguna
