Re: Championship Discussion
Yeah thats me and you in those pics. The run you got on me on the start finish straight was unbeliveble!
Also guys, I think for this championship, like the TASCAR, we should not run number boxes. I propse we do something like this...
Note the numbers on the banner (front and back) and just behind the rear window. I have also created a V8 Supercars TORA logo I made a Ford banner as well just to see how it looks. I can still add the .com to the bottom of that or onto the rear banner.

Hehehe, managed to get a nice draft down the pit straight, did a little dummy, then managed to cover the inside line for Turn 2 after I went a little wide. I reckon we're on to a winner with this series!Richy59 wrote:Yeah thats me and you in those pics. The run you got on me on the start finish straight was unbeliveble!

OMG richy how did you paint on the Banners?? it hasnt been letting me on either of my V8's
Re: Championship Discussion
I used the number 1 wincup car for mines and it let's you use them fine. Ian bought the van gisbergen ford and he can't paint the banners on that. If I remember correctly the Holden you are gifted in the game can't have it's banners painted on. I think we need some people to buy the other holdens and see if we can paint on any of their banners. Once we find one I recommend that we stipulate that only the number 1 ford and the number x Holden are used so that banners can be used or something like that

Yeh i used the Fujitsu car (damn it Billing! lol)
Thats kinda stupid you'd think they'd be exactly the same across the board! Whats the point of remodelling for each one when the cars are practically the same just with different setups and different standard paints!
It's a shame too beacuse i have one of each built up and neither has paintable banners but both have otherwise fully finished paintjobs
Re: Championship Discussion
I think it's Rusty's Holden which has the paintable number banner. That's the one which seems to be used by the painters on the storefront.

Re: Championship Discussion
I quite like the cars stock, only thing I have changed is the wheels which I wouldn't have done if I could have painted the stock one.
Re: Championship Discussion
I think that the cars NEED to be difficult to drive, the racing will become all about having as much momentum as possible and being patient with the throttle and the cars in front. No TCS, and no upgrades I say. Perhaps its time for us to USE OUR BRAINS in a race, we have it too easy with Forza's easy-on-the-limit handling already, lets spice things up!

Not sure i agree with that, taking concentration away from the racecraft is never good in my books, (Just look at my outings in the LMS LMP2 Class, people struggling with difficult cars and carnage everywhere)
Just an opinion guys please dont jump down my throat....
Re: Championship Discussion
I know, I know. But surely you would know not to slam the accelerator down?
Its hard for me to understand because I dont use TCS, but is there a difficulty in the actual driving of the car itself, or is it more to do with pace?
Without TCS, everyone is in the same boat.

Re: Championship Discussion
TORA is a universal series which can appeal to all skill levels. If you remove TCS, your removing a large chuck of the potential audience. If they wish to use traction control then so be it, but they will always find they are slower. *puts hand up*
Re: Championship Discussion
im talking about BRAKING
race brakes are necessary!
do whatever you want with the TCS. i want race brakes

Re: Championship Discussion
I can get along with most RWD cars nowadays without TCS and be much faster. But even when I turn those V8s down to 10% throttle I cannot race them successfully. I can hotlap in them, but I don't want to be going door handle to door handle with someone and then spin into them or in front of 7 otehr people. TCS shoudl always be an option.
