Team Aero Dynamics breaks cover
Team Aero Dynamics broke cover today in a press release detailing an ambitious multi-championship motorsports programme for the winter season. Followers of TORA championships from the 2009 summer season will recognise team principle WWR Aero from his exploits as second driver in the Biggs Racing Motorsport (BRM) team's Touring Car and GTC contenders.
Today's announcement also revealed newcomer WWR Phil to be the team's second driver, with the third seat still to be confirmed, although it appears likely that this will be filled by the up-and-coming WWR Chillz, who would bring vital sponsorship money to the team.
No announcement has yet been made as to whether Team Aero Dynamics will be entering this season's Rally Championships, however they have confirmed participation in the LMS, running in GT1; Classic Endurance series, running in Proto 1; Touring Car Masters, and Mini Challenge.
This is an testing yet thrilling time for the fledgeling team, and we will soon see if they have what it takes to run in so many series simultaneously.
Further announcements will no-doubt be coming soon, including the team's cars of course. One well-placed insider has said that the team has been spotted doing extensive GT3 testing in the Corvette Z06, though we havent been able to verify this at time of going to press.
