I love drifting. I am not that good at using the RWD cars but I love putting the power down in an AWD. Here is a shot of me in a RWD at Fuji.

I'm thinking of Running a Drift lobby in the next few days since TORA will be having its first ever Drift championship in the second half of the season.

Is anybody interested in practicing / Testing?

Anybody from either class is welcome and you dont have to run the car you intend to run in Competition, (you dont even have to be entering the TORA Drift Championship you can just turn up to have fun if you like!)

Im thinking maybe Friday, Saturday or maybe Sunday....

Anybody interested? Post in here if so....

Certainly if I am available, I would love to attend. I was practicing on Sedon Club Reverse but was about half way to your 1 lap total there. Pretty sad really. Lol. I think you had 30+K and I was 14.8K.

So I have gotten my points total up to 20k for one lap around Sedona Club Reverse. Still a long way to go. I have been using the RX7 on your storefront but I don't think it actually is going to fit into the lower level of the drift championship if I remember correctly. I have been also experimenting with the GT500. There are several lower PI lower HP versions out there on the storefront. Just have to find the right one. I have gotten the Stang up to 18K. Must find balance!

I recently discovered that power is everything Razz I usually have only around 400-500hp in a drift car, but an extra 300 or 400 helps massively.

Dont take that too Literally, Power helps but its generally a balance in the chassis and a balance between grip and power that you need to find. Dont chuck in 900BHP and then wounder why your pointing backwards out of every corner lol

I'd say start off in something lower powered but with good Torque, 350ish i'd say. but to be honest everyone is different so just try and find your own balance and limits. Smile

Slider, all of the setups I have been using are storefront setups. I don't have the slightest idea of how to go about setting up a drift car, I can barely setup a grip car!

I have sent you a replay to look at Slider, I found a new tune for the GT500 which is at the top of A class (hopefully the right pi) and I hit 24k on the opening lap, with a 20k on the second lap. My best 2 lap total! It's also available on my storefront if anyone is interested in seing what a couple of days of practice might get you! Lol.

Excelent! i look forward to seeing it when i get home tonight!

What i meant was with the build, try and find a balance between grip and power.

Club Class (if thats what your aiming for) Will be either a 500PI Limit or a 600PI Limit or somewhere in between.... Hope that helps.

I'll take a look at the replay and see if i can spot anything which can help Smile
