I hate watching karting crashes cause they could so easily go very wrong. Any of you karters been in anything like that?

I have, Somebody spun out, then backed into me while i was trying to go around them, thus causing my kart to flip. Same thing happened to my friend in a shifter, but he was not so lucky....he broke his shoulder(collar bone)...

ive seen one happen in front of me, i almost caught fire once but that was it. I went tailpipe first into some haybales and i was trying to get out but couldnt and the bales started smoldering, so i got out of the kart and pushed

BTW.... here is the video of my friend that crashed. The crash is towards the end. But it happened this earlier this year, Round 3 at Jacksonville 103rd street karting complex. I as watching him while it happened.
