Rage against the Xfactor.

After a highly publicized campaign to have RATM's Killing in the name, sell more copies than Xfactor Winner's Joe McElderry's version of the Miley Cirus hit "the Climb" Ratm wins, McElderry sounds like a pu**y saying
"They can't be serious! I had no idea what it sounded like. It's dreadful and I hate it. How could anyone enjoy this? Can you imagine the grandmas hearing this over Christmas lunch? I wouldn't buy it. It's a nought out of 10 from me. Simon Cowell wouldn't like it. They wouldn't get through to Boot Camp on The X Factor--they're just shouting."

I found it quite funny, mainly because I hate X Factor.

I hate anything simon cowell so im happy

People moan about it but he's just proving to be a bad loser and quite frankly the nation has had enough!
The last good thing to come out of the show was Will Young and that's it.
RATM deserve to be nmber 1, its a victory for music over money.

Rage against the machine is awesome... i remember listening to that 10 years ago.

Whilst i dislike X factor, I think its a shame that it RATM has been put to number 1 after a hate campaign. If it was a legitiamte entry.. i.e The Muppets and Bohemiem Rapsody. Afterall the winner of the x factor has worked hard to get to where they are - and what alot of people fail to realise is that its not Simon Cowell who particularly cares, but poor old Joe who its ultimately effecting.

Im not a Joe fan, but i think he can sing... not my cup off tea mind you. I just dont think people realise what impact something like this will have long term on the boy.

Will Young was Pop Idol. Nothing good has come out of the X Factor. Apart from the nation realising that Sharon Osbourne is a massive c*nt.

I guess its more to do with the fact that year after year pointless songs that aren't particularly 'Xmassy' or meaningful get put to #1 because all the muppets who watch X Factor go out like like the sheep they are and buy it regardless of talent or anything else. Its getting seen for what it is, a way to make a quick buck out of people who don't know any better.
It's about time it stopped IMO.
While I don't doubt the kid might have some talent, is he going to last as long as some of our truely established bands or soloists? No.
There's no such thing really these days as truely great bands, yeah some are lasting well but they are ones who were around 10+ years ago! Nothign new seems to really properly last for a long time. And that's a shame.

tbh i have no interest in the charts.... ever since TOTP went off... and even then id only watch it to drool over Britney Spears etc.. Lol

well i like x factor but i dont like joe and if u guys wanta no at least 5 x factor finalists (Shayne Ward, Leona Lewis, Alexarda Burke, Jls, Joe Mc) will have albums out next year so i guess ull be covering ur ears!

Yea, think it was more having a go at whole situation with uk at momment as well and what a state our country is in, but been fan of rage for a very long time and watching them at reading in the early 2000 I would have never of thought they would get 2 number 1.

So when are TORA going to get a song done, maybe using some engine notes hahaha
