Re: IOR Racing
Guinness pull out, and Mild Seven confirm the FOURTH sponor change and, because of Ricky Ray being American, the team is now called 'Mild Seven Atlantic Engineering'

Monk's ETCC Team has pay for space sponsers, Tuning Garages, Painters, People's Real Life stuff etc.
Quite a good idea, is good to get money.

ROUND 2 - ROAD ATLANTA - AE INGINEERING'S MAIDEN WIN
A sweet and sour outing for AEI this weekend, Chad qualified on pole with me in second, seperated by 6 one thousandths of a second, due to connection problems, Chad started at the rear, which put me on pole. for the first 4 laps I pulled away from Selective Rouge, and got a handy 70 metre gap, untill i made a big error on the final chicane, Rogue overtook me for the lead, and Nicklfc was along side me. We touched, sending him into the tyres on the outside of the final corner, sending him into the path of Dabot in his TVR, Dabot became airbourne (from what i could see i my mirror) and it was a pretty big stack. From this, Chad took third, and i began to catch rogue. I came very close to overtaking him at a few points on the track, but his staright line speed kept him in the lead. Later on in the race, chad caught up and we had a clos fight for a few laps, Dabot had made a stop, and the pit window was looming. I spun off the track into the tyres, and was behind nicklfc, he made his stop, then rogue, then chad. On lap 21 i pitted with extremely worn tyres, and came out in fourth, despite rogue crashing, losing him the lead. Chad came home to take the teams first win, with me in 4th..

Round 3 - Laguna Seca – Lobby C Race Report
Grid – 1) SelectiveRogue
2) TrK Magic
3) AID123X
4) Culchi
5) Chaddy2K8
6) Shantzez
Race -
It was a bright roasting hot day with the crowd cheering and engines revving as the cars waited on the grid for the warm up lap to begin. The Laguna Seca track is one of the most well known with examples of this ranging from “THE PASS” in Cart in 1996 to the final goodbye to the Honda NSX on Top Gear. The races here can cause drama – and lots it and the crowd didn’t have too wait long till drama happened! The cars set off on there warm up laps and before the even getting too the Corkscrew, Culchi did a Montoya and binned his car into the wall!
Lucky for him he was able to get back to his 4th place starting lot. The cars came round the last turn 2 at a time and the race was on!
The start was clean, no wheel banging or blocking – which maybe Aid should have done as he lost out too Culchi into the 1st corner. Then on the exit Chaddy dived on his right and got the line for the next apex which saw Aid now 5th. But if u thought that was bad Culchi turned his day from bad to ****. After being Montoya earlier on he changed to Vettel when the cars came too the Corkscrew! He ran wide going too deep on the brakes and on his return to the track hit SMartini stable mate Chaddy!
Unfortunately Culchi dropped too the tail of the field but Chaddy nicked 3rd place but ended the lap quite far from leaders SelectiveRogue & TrK Magic. Aid was now 4th with RBS team mate Shantzez 5th. Things even settled down for 2 laps but Chaddy had a small off on lap 4 and Magic was looking everywhere too pass for 1st. Chaddy soon started to push and on lap 6 he started to slowly close on the leaders. Then a mistake at the end of lap 8 by Magic let Chaddy close right up. A lap later and Chaddy was threw due to another mistake from Magic as his Ferrari was losing grip.
But it wasn’t for long and a huge lock up by Chaddy let the Ferrari car back threw, but only just. Lap 10 and Chad & Magic touch! Magic run wide Chaddy tried to pass but positions stayed the same!
Then at the end of the lap the battle was over as Magic run very wide and Chaddy took the place with both hands. The Crowd cheered wildly as Chaddy Vs SelectiveRogue Part 2 from Road Atlanta was set to happen, but the problem for them was the AE car was 5 secs back! However with this going on the Crowd missed Magic falling to last place and the fact that Aid was 3rd and Culchi now 4th. In two laps Chaddy had halved Rogues gap and it was looking like the crowd would get there wishes. But out of the blue Rogue made a mistake and Chaddy was threw into the lead by lap 15.
Rogue dived straight into the pits for new tyres and came out in 4th place. Both Aid and Culchi followed suit a lap later. Chad stayed out 3 more laps and set a best lap of 1m.23.8 during those laps which saw him come out of the pits with a bigger gap. And that’s how it stayed for the final laps with Chad having to win to help his championship after a crap quli session.
So the crowd went home happy but the was a air of disappointment as they had wanted to see what would have happened if Rogue didn’t make a mistake, but on the other hand, everyone was guessing which driver Culchi would try too be next….

Re: IOR Racing
Nice report there mate.
Looks like Culchi had an off day?
Just one thing though. Although our approach to our reports is different, it just somehow feels like the sort of report I would do!!
