WWR Aero broke my 360!!!

Been working fine for the last 2 years and not an issue at all, until I get into a party with WWR Aero tonight and the console freezes. I turn it off, switch it back on again, freezes instantly. Turn it off, leave it for a few minutes, turn it back on, load Forza, get back into the party, freezes, turn it off, turn it back on..................RROD!

Not happy at all. I expect personal recompense from you Aero!

So this means I'm out for the forseeable future, I'll be sending it off for repair as soon as I can tho. And I was looking forward to MW2 on Friday so much. God must hate me.

Gutted mate, hopefully if you send it away you should get it back fairly quickly. How come everyones xbox seems to break at a time when people actually want to do something i.e. chris' one dying days before he wants to play a cod night, dans breaking as he is winning a championship, matts breaking right before the tlms kicks off.

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking too. The season ended in October, and then, a week before the new season starts, it dies. Gona miss like 5 race nights across 4 different championships now. Just hope it comes back fast and they send me a nice new one that wont break on me again. Wishful thinking I know.

i got mine fixed sum time last year think it was around may. only last week i turned it on and got one red light but so far its still going and ive got a 24hour race coming up!

I'm on my third. My first one kept overheating and showing 2 red lights. Thne the 2nd one got RROD so I sent it away but I've got a spare one now just incase.

I've had the RRoD twice already. First time was with an Xbox I got for Christmas, but they sent me a replacement Xbox. Like, 6 to 7 months after that, I got RRoD again, but they said they actually fixed it. I don't know how long this will last though.

I have a spare 360 as like you i had the RRD last summer. They took just under 2 weeks to replace it but in the meantime i went and bought an arcade 360. If you would like to borrow my spare until yours is returned you are welcome?

I very, very much appreciate your offer Basher but I think a little break from Live might do me some good. It will at least give the Mrs reason to stop complaining for a few weeks so every cloud and all that.

When I broke the news last night she couldn't help but let a small grin cross her face coz she's been secretly wishing for the RRoD for months now i bet.

But thank you so very much matey that is an offer people would never normally get and you are a credit to yourself and the TORA community.

No worries Chris, i was casting my mind back to how sick it made me feel...

I remember that smile, Lucy (my wife) held it for about 5 seconds until i cracked, grabbed my car keys and with the speed of a tall Indian made my way to GAME, picked up the Arcade 360 and had it up and running for a Friday night Forza 2 session!

I can assure you that if the front room tele broke she would have it replaced just a quickly.

I would imagine a number of us have these TV shows to thank for the amount of laps we get to race, only this morning i was informed that a new series of Desperate House Wives was starting oh and Greys Anatomy...tonight!

Yeah I can't complain about Britains Got Talent or X Factor coz it means I get bribe free Saturday night Xbox sessions.
