I think a Sierra Cossie would absolutely nail some of those 'muscle' cars on our B roads, they wouldn't stand a chance.

Jokes all about Brit cars... I'm not sure though, I've found some of the muscle cars to be to be quite competitive in spots, especially the '70 Challenger. Those things absolutely nailed all the other cars at places like Mugello.

Might just be me, but this could possibly make a good event too, even if its only a one-shot deal. American muscle vs. British.

Haaa... an RS500 Turbo as run by Steve Soper would beat the crap out of any US muscle car. Same with a VT Commie! If I remember correctly, the Mustang got TROUNCED in the DTM by the Sierra's and M3's. And the Group C Big Banger Mazda RX-7 could beat any Camaro, Falcon or Mustang at Bathurst easily

An RS500 WAS a road car though, the touring car had very few modifications to it. A lightweight RWD 500hp Turbo isn't a ''Leaky little brit car'', which was my point!

I also compared race muscle cars to race non-muscle cars.

I think the point is Euro cars win in the curves and American cars get it on the Straights.

Corners = American Kryptonite
