nicky, just be glad TNT isnt broadcasting the races, yet. in the past years since TNT/NBC aired the races, they would air about 5 to 10 minutes of the race, then cut to just about the same amount of commercial time. Fox seems to be a bit better, but with these cautions, and the Red Flag thing for the pot-holes, the commercials can get a bit irritating

One thing I have noticed is that here in the UK, the ads are sheduled for certain times, but they seem to be able to like, hit an ad button or something over there if there is a caution or something, and mid ad-break they were giving updates and stuff, so im cool with that. Its just the content of the adds haha!

here in the US, the menu's and leaderboards become part of the ad's.

Ahh, such a disappointing race and exciting at the same time. My hatred for Jeff Gordon grew when he helped Kahne spin. Then when I saw Earnhardt Jr catching up, I got really anxious. I'm just so happy Earnhardt didn't win. I also couldn't be happier that Johnson got sent to the garage!

Man, where the hell did jr come from on that last lap?! I was routing for JPM for all of that, but he just never made any progress, every time he gained momentum he lost it again.

Entry list for the 2010 ELMS looking very healthy! These guys are proper stock car entusiasts, and they are all nice guys, nobody knows more than these guys when it comes to discussing NASCAR on 10-10ths.

The ELMS was actualy set up by a few members from 10-10ths, it was a merger between the old ASCAR Days of Thunder Series (used to run at Rockingham and Lazautz all the time) and Belgium's CAMSO V8 which used to run all year round at Warneton Speedway, with the occasional visit to Lydden Hill.

The ELMS has quite a few rounds in the UK this year, at Lydden, Ipswich and Hednesford Hills on multiple occasions (We do Saturday night Short Track racing here in the UK too y'know )

It is also one of the most cost effective series in the whole of europe, an entire season sets you back just a few thousand euros, and there are always cars to hire out for a race or two. TORA wildcard entry at one of the UK rounds anyone?

i hate to ressurect old threads, but i just read this about NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series is trying a 'Qualifying Session' with multiple trucks on the track at a time For next weekend's Pocono Race. ordering will be based on 'Reverse practice speeds', meaning the slower guys would go first. im sure this will work, as look how well the 'Overtime' rule has made races more exciting in the Nationwide and Sprint Cup. and that started in the Truck Series.
