Phone Upgrade, and cant decide what next.

I have an iPhone right now but in 2 days time im due an upgrade a free one.

Now ive been looking at 2 phones. the palm pre and the HTC HD2. If anyone of you owns either please give me your 2 cents on the device.

Im loving the HD2 for its power and the fact windows 7 is a free upgrade in the future.

Palm Pre i love the touchstone charging dock thing. I simply cannot decide.

Two options;

Option A

1) get a HD2, wow all your mates.

2) the realise its WinMo and its quite disappointing.

3) Come the summer the new iPhone comes out and you realise have another 12 months left with this POS.

4) Get depression.


Option B


1) go on o2 simplicity for £20 per month, it only a month by month contract and its got the same bundle as the normal iPhone contract.

2) Come the summer your get a shiny new iPhone. YaY you.

Windows Phone 7 Series will not be here until December at the earliest, by which time the HD2 will be terribly outdated.

If you want WP7S then do simplicity till then.

You clearly have not used the Pre's keyboard yet then lol.

Im sick of the iPhone, unless you jailbreak it theirs simply nothing you can do except the usual phone things and download apps.

You get fed up of owning an iPhone everyone else likes but then again everyone else also owns one.

i'll be upgrading to nexus/android after my iphone contract runs out.

True. im confused. But i read up on the new iphone and im guessing its design will be exactly the same. With a couple more features. That i probably wont even use lol. Then i will think, was this really worth the wait.

Pre's keyboard is a bit small for my hands. HD2's background winmo will just be frustrating. After the Tytn i had ages ago.
