Matt's going INSANE!

Next March I plan to enter the Silverstone Half Marathon, but as it's pretty much a stupid thing to do without any kind of preparation I'll be running my first ever 10k for Cancer Research at Cardiff on the 31st October.
I'm sure we all know someone who has been affected by cancer at some stage and it's a big deal for me to be running for this cause.
So I'm asking as many of you as possible to support me in this really quite crazy venture on my way to Silverstone in 2011.

For those who have pledged already thank you all so much!
To those who have offered their best wishes I thank you also. I'm running this as I said as a preparation for the Silverstone Half Marathon next year but more importantly I am running it for my 'Grampy' who is battling cancer AND alzheimers and fighting it hard. It's for him and all those other people who battle with this every day that I do this.

Just a quick bump for this.
Training starts in earnest this week. The nice weather and longer nights means I have to run in daylight which isn't ideal!

The venue recently changed to Plymouth which for those who don't know contains hills!!!!! This should make the going even more interesting.

I am officially entered now for the Silverstone half mara in March 2011 so I'll be taking this rather more seriously than first thought.
