whats your favorite fictional race circuit from any game? Im a big fan of Gran Turismo's high speed ring and sunset infield
anyone else?

Fujimi Kaido (especially stage D)

Trail Mountain (Gran Turismo)

Special stage Route 5 (Gran Turismo)

The drag strip with the train at the end (NFS Ungerground 1)

Oh yes, the paris circuit in GT4 was great. Forza needs more temporary street circuits

When I went to Assisi with school and got lost with some mates, I recognised all the little back alleys from Gran Turismo and found my way back to the main square! we walked it in reverse from the hairpin next to the big church up to the start/finish. It amazed me how acurate that track was, thats why I don't like Positano, it doesn't even look like they attepmpted to make it look real.

This is just REALLY creepy. I went outside around 9am thinking about some Gran Turismo tracks, now its 11:30 and I see a post basically about it. Creepy!

Always adored Deep Forest in the GT series, belting up the hillside in an Impreza heading for the tunnels was my first memory of playing GT. That and the incredible Costa de Amalfi circuit from GT4, could race that all day. In fact, think I'll got fire up GT PSP and do that now!

Essington and Toban Raceway from rFactor are two more recent favourites.

Some modders make some great fictional circuits

those got better on the N64, i think. some of the Fzero tracks from the GameCube version were awesome. dont remember any of the names.

Pheonix International Raceway Road Course (Nascar 2005: Chase For The Cup)
some Super Mario Kart tracks (Bowser tracks top the list)

oh god way to many to mention on this one but one that seems to stand out in my head atm is from GT4 the Hong Kong Street Circuit, I don't know why because it wasn't particularly a difficult track, nor was it quick. just liked it for some reason.

It reminded me of Singapore quite a bit.

I didn't mention Tiburon Raceway from Nascar Thunder 2003. I don't know if it made any appearances out of that game, but it was like 230+ on possibly 45 degree banked turns.

The Ladera/Iberia etc complex is just a great example of poor track design
