TORA GT3: This is it! Silverstone finale.

It's that time of year again everyone! TORA's founding series is once again coming to an end. The titles may have been decided but there's still all to play for in the lower positions.
Let's hope for a great end to the 2010 season

race 1 was pretty amazing...

That was awesome. Lots of battles everywhere. Gutted I got clunked out of second but the car was great up until some errors crept in. Great racing guys!

Redbeard, sorry for the shunt mate.

Got a great start and took the lead, locked up into Becketts, rejoined in third, then got tapped out as we came on to Hanger Straight. Car had good pace and managed to get back on the pack, passing tceriale and looking to get past I Redbeard at Club, but misjudged the braking point and collected him. Stayed off line until he passed, but he was clearly fighting the car, so I took a pit-stop. Passed him when he took a later pit-stop.

I owe you an apology too mate. I watched the race 2 replay and was very suprised to see I'd hit you twice on the first lap. I knew there was contact but thought I was tapping redbeard infront of me. Had no idea I'd hit you let alone knocked you off the track.

Had a brilliant moment a couple of corners later taking redbeard on the straight with general doing the same on the grass on the opposite side.

I had some pretty solid running last night. Was in a comfortable 4th place for the full race until about lap 8 or so when I managed to cut the grass on the inside of the first corner and had a spectacular spin. Caught up the the guys by the end of the race but didn't have enough laps to go any further. Even managed a 1:49.4 when I was pushing

In race 2 I started on pole and led the race for 5 full laps until Chillz, Nick ans Switch caught me and breezed past within 2 laps of catching me but then I just cruised along behind the to take a very comfortable 4th. All in all it wasn't a spectacular end to the season but I did enjoy it.

Dunno if it was just me or not hut my tires became really bad from about lap 5 to lap 11 then the became absolutist brilliant. I thought it was just me in race 1 which led to me spinning but in race 2 the car just didn't work well for those laps and then after lap 11 I was able to push and get the car into the mid 1:49s again.

I know I said it last night but I shall reiterate. The racing in B Lobby yesterday was fantastic. All clean, yeah there was some contact but nothing insane or dirty.
The quality of racing epitomised what I want from TORA, and quite frankly that was the best GT3 racing I've had for quite some time!

Yeah B lobby has had some fantastic racing all season which to me was fairly suprising given the difference in speed and handling between some of the cars. Credit to everyone involved though as its been very clean all season.

Grrrr, I always don't do the GT3's for some reason... why?!

TVR- corvette battles have been epic all season.

between dan, switch and Y22 in their teams vettes and gary and scot in their vettes.

its a shame the Ford GT didnt make many showing this season. im curious as to how it might have performed (its my favorite car to use in the A Class RWD public Hopper, when i used to race against ppl i didnt know)

Into Vale for the first time and the TVR's were tightly packed.

A mistake from the THR allowed Chris through on the inside. The door was firmly shut on Travis at this stage,


Travis' TVR finally got the better of Matt after a sideby side battle from Abbey to Luffield.


A couple of laps later and the TVR led once more.
