Clearly a case of driver/rider error though... Brands has been a staple of the British motorsport diet for as long as I can remember & years before.

I will concede that life lost due to motorsport is unwanted & unnecessary to create a spectacle; however, Motorsport is inherently dangerous & anyone who enters a competition is quite simply retarded if they assume they can just hoon about a track regardless & walk away unscathed. Racing rewards the talented people who can find the 'fine line' that exists on the "ragged edge of retardation" (to paraphrase Martin Brundle).

To sugarcoat & soften some of these tracks would be the start of a horrifically boring end to a wonderful arena of sport.
