TASCAR ROUND 4: HIGH SPEED RING SPEEDWAY

This saturday is another oval for the tascar racers! At 2200BST the drivers will be facing the huge HIGH SPEED RING!!!

Last meeting saw 4 Saftey car's be called into action! but the layout of the high speed ring should see some great drafting and maybe even a last lap pass for the win!

I am sooooo racing in this tonight and Chad it was 6 safety cars 4 in 5 laps

Im making my return to racing tonight. Should be good.

Its and Easy track to drive but a hard one to master!

WAAH! Will probably be missing this to go see some real racing but I wish everyone loads of luck. Never been on the High Speed Ring, but sounds like a blast!

Would love to make it but having an early night before going off to the BTCC.

that may be true Slider, but these 'Stock Car' races feel more at home to me

Woot! i got my Petty Ford into Victory lane! very unfortunate for Slider as he had been bump drafting me from the drop of the green flag. sorry mate, but i dont think a lag spike can be controlled.

A good race runined by things outside of my control.....

im totally gutted

Ran 2nd for the whole race, there was a safety car just before the cut off point 3 laps from the end.... i get taen out by lag.... dead last not even close to the pack..... gutted.... just gutted.....

Not amused.

Was doing okay up until the first crash. Duncan and I got out of shape and spun, taking out Chaddy. On the restart, streetf1ghter seemed slow to get away so I moved wide to avoid him but that meant I had to give the place back. Eventually did that and bumpdrafted till we caught the pair in front.

Then got swiped and went wide, lost the draft and game was a bogey for me. Spent lap upon lap watching the cars in front get further away, and couldn't do a thing about it. Was actually looking for Switch and Slider behind me by the time Chaddy crashed on lap 27.

Caught up for the restart, but right as we were about to go green, my game lagged. The cars in front sped up for a few seconds as the AI took over, with me not knowing it was lagging trying to keep up. Then the game caught up, putting me in front of the pack before the line. Lifted off to let everyone past only to yet again lose the draft! VERY frustrating.

Then saw the game severely lag again ahead of me, which saw Slider come back towards me. Gary got spun out, down the track then back up, slamming into Slider - what were the chances of that on a track this wide and long? Duncan dropped back as he had been in the collision that spun Gary out, so I collected a gifted 4th place.

Was a pretty event filled race and I was just very lucky.

Nearly pinched the win!

Streetfighter's Last Lap Pass

(Turn 10 clipped off the last second of this one. it wouldve captured me moving up to catch streetfighter's draft)

If I just timed my pass a little later I could have made it stick!
