IN.
Car feels heavy around here, but well balanced. I have had to work hard to get the Aston V12 to handle correctly. Looking forward to a good battle with the Lotus runners, as well as the others, obviously.
1.28.4xx so far. I will do some more laps tonight, as I am sure I have at least 2 tenths in that, but we will see.

In!
I know the Spyker isn't a Lotus so it should be interesting and I may be farther back than usual.

Re: GT4 Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Laguna Seca Round 3 & 4
There was some great racing out there tonight but I won't be taking part in further GT4 races.
AJ asked me to try and run a couple rounds, I did, well not entirely, sorry mate but that's ultimately my decision.
Good luck to everyone for the remainder of the championship

Good racing in C lobby tonight.
Despite an aborted race one start, I had a good race, winning my lobby after a hard drive to catch tceriale. Caught him up with about 2 laps to go, eventually passed him, and took the win.
Race two saw me have a good opening lap, went from last to third, up until the second last corner. Johhnyboy was on the outside running deep in the corner, and I took the tighter inside line, but he came across me and spun my car. Sadly, the following Aston Martin of garyp3398 collected me and ruined the engine, driveshaft, and aero.
Being right next to the pits, I went straight in and got repairs. Came back out 25 seconds behind the pack and started hammering it to catch up. Managed to get up to within 13 seconds of the nearest car when, coming out the last turn, I lost my attention for a second and oversteered, sending the car nose first into the pitwall. Aero was already fully damaged, but my steering rack and sequential box were heavily damaged. In the end, I had to limp the car, which was pulling heavily to the left, across the line in lobby and outright last place.
The car felt great though, the pace was there, and although I had a few wee moments with the snap oversteer, it was catching the pack in race two with full aero damage. Looking forward to the next round of this now!

i am abit ashamed i didnt practice more than i did. both races i had some body damage, but both times managed to run faster than my qualy time, which was faster than my practicing times. im comfortable with my finish, and glad Laguna is said and done with in this series already.

Re: GT4 Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Laguna Seca Round 3 & 4
Good racing in B lobby as usual tonight... ended early for me in race 2 due to what I later found out was my other half streaming a lot of data to her iPhone. Not entirely happy as I think I was catching the back of the (very tight) pack having had to pit on lap one after the Lotus Vs Aston Martin event detailed above. Apologies again Aero, was watching a lot further up the track & didn't realise how early everyone was dropping anchor!
Hats off to Louis for race one, a great battle lasting the whole race after being shunted down to fourth at the corkscrew. The race I had against that BMW really made up for it because otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd just be pushing quali laps to try & keep up with Aero! Was looking forward to more of the same in race 2 but... see above!
On a brighter note some good point for Vibe today, great performances from General TSO & Troff meant I don't feel so bad about the lag
TORA's perennial B lobbyist over & out.

Don't panic! I'll alter it on the results table, which will get updated on the forum/website soon, but don't worry in the meantime if it shows the old team, it WILL be done.
