Are the GT2 limits still the same? The Ferrari 430 is still 752 or 753 I think.

Yes tim GT's are still the same just proto's because there was a significant disadvantage going toward the german marks.

Re: LMS Round 8 - Road America - Discussion Thread
I don't know if anyone else driving a prototype has this problem, but my suspension just failed on me.... Simply from driving around the track, after around 4 laps, my rear left just hit 100% round the carousell and my car just spun off... wierd. The springs and dampers are very soft and the ride height is quite high to minimise this, but the suspension just keeps breaking..

stiffen the suspension and drop the ride hight mate it'll last longer! I believe you're driving the R10? if so i had that problem with almost every race you just have to make due with it. :/

I'll be here but im not feeling well and dont really know the track.
The plan is to put a safe tune on the car, dial myself back abit and just learn the track....

Re: LMS Round 8 - Road America - Discussion Thread
I don't think I'll make it, something has come up and I don't think I'll see qualy. Might be on at the start of the race but I can't promise it.

I'm going to miss this meeting after all! I am now beating frustrated head against hard object! The racing gods are against me, I'm convinced. Everyone have a great race. Hope to actually race with you all soon.

Re: LMS Round 8 - Road America - Discussion Thread
Early Shower for me after a promising Qualifying session
Re: LMS Round 8 - Road America - Discussion Thread
FINALLY I finish a race!!!!!
A really promising qualifying session for the Aston Martin, race start went well and was keeping in touch with the lead group when a small error on my part (found reverse instead of first gear at Turn 3) lost me a bunch of time that was near impossible to get back. Beat my qualy time by around half a second which was great but with the lead group banging in consistantly quicker times there was no real hope. Good couple of pit stops but the aero damage caused by the off hampered top end speed and reduced the chance of making up any ground. On the whole a good effort for my first proper race back in a while. Quietly pleased with the outcome, knowing it could have been probably better had I not made the customary mistake!!

Re: LMS Round 8 - Road America - Discussion Thread
I was happy with my result with not dropping any places like I normally do in LMS caught up to tceriale a few times then a couple of grass cutting sessions I just lost the back of him and just kept my head down trying to not get lapped then with 5 mins left louis finally caught me and passe me. Overall I am pleased with that result and a good result from stonewall also claiming 3rd and culchi bringing it home in 6th after a poor qualifying session. And also congrats to avenger on taking the P2 championship.
Next race is one track I can never get the hang of.

Re: LMS Round 8 - Road America - Discussion Thread
Well, I took it very easy and relaxed today and there was little action today for us P2 drivers, but it was still a great race. Not gonna lie though, a title is nice.
