TFD Round 5 - Maple Valley Short Circuit - 28th October 2010 - Discussion and sign in

TFD Round 5 will be heading to Maple Valley Short for the Second part of the TFD Double Headder.

Last time out saw Dominant Victory for TRC World Champion Slider S15 in his SBR Falken Rockstar Saturn Sky V8 and with it a surge back to the top of the TFD Drivers Standings. However the highlights came from further down the field with ckBrenneke debuting both Himself and the TFD Guest car in devestating style with 2nd place in a car he had never driven and wasnt even set to drive until 10mins before the Event. Lady Racer StaceyLovesChad pushed him all the way in her SBR Prepared Honda S2000 to claim her first ever TORA Podium.

Round 5 sees TFD heading to Maple Valley Short circuit, the dark sheep of the TFD Callender. If you were to just look at the map of the circuit it would appear to be a very simple kinked oval, but scratch beneath the Surface and your hit with tight twists, undulations, bumps and close walls.

Its these close walls and high entry speeds that present the TFD Drivers with their first and only chance of the year to preform a "Wall Tap Entry". (Where the rear bumper is clipped on the outside wall once the car is sideways as it enters the corner.)

All these elements could see a great show and some tight fights as the Penultimate Race before the TFD Finale in November.
