POLL: FM3 Drag Racing?

This isnt related to anything coming in the future, Just woundering wether people would be interested in a Forza 3 based Drag racing series?

(So long as we can Ban the ridiculous Datsun 510's and VW Rabbits)

Something could be worked out for a few different classes (Maybe ban 4WD altogether to keep things interesting)

Just a toe dip in the water.... Me museing and woundering whilst stuck here bored at Uni between lectures..... let me know what you think!!!

You know I've never done a single drag race. I've always assumed the loading time would be greater than the race itself.

Loading times are not too bad (especially on the shorter lengths at Sedona, not much track to load and only 2 cars to load too)

There slightly longer at the benchmark drag but 8 lane drag racing is sooooo much cooler looking lol

The times arnt bad actually loading wise (Not exactly going to be running Top Fuel times in street based cars)

(PS: Give it a go but not online.... Everybody's in a datsun with a billion BHP Skyline lump and its no fun, Try the 8 lane Benchmark drags in quick race against the computer.... Getting your times down can become kinda addictive!)

It's an intresting concept but i think it would be too difficult to pull off unfortunately :/

ive done a wee bit of drag racing.When i got bored i tried to see how fast i could make a lotus elan go down the 1/4 mile

i enjoy having a laugh with it but dont know how easy it would be to work into a series.

I think it would be more of the last man standing kind of event, either by doing 1 v 1 or do the 8 person drag and after each race the loser leaves untill the final 1 v 1 then could do a best out of. Then just have a different car for the following event. So could do american muscle, the super gt, then old english, classic muscle, le mans P1 etc

I'd love for this to happen!! I love drag racing in my RWD-converted Jeep and Taurus, except for online. Online sucks. Like someone said, organizing may be difficult and the mere seconds long race gets annoying at times, but I would be up for this somehow!
