POLL: FM3 Demolition Derby?

What do you guys think of a Demolition Derby series on Forza 3, using the "Last man Standing" mode as a base, only with Damage turned on to add another dimention to competition.

Each race would be for a set length of time (5-10 mins) on different tracks, points are scored (by FM3) for ramming and crashing into your opponent, however with the Damage on you will have to be intelligent, having to hit your opponents for points to win whilst preserving you own car. Also Damaging your opponents to restrict their movements and scoreing abilities adds yet another level to the event.

Cars would be cheap low PI cars (no higher than C class i'd say) Allowing for low cost entry to the series.

I remember having a go at this with Nicky, Magic and Travis and it was so much fun a definate yes

You can score points in FM3 by hitting each other?

yeh you can in last man standing mode (i know its a lobby option in playground, i hope its available to us to make our own lobby of it)

You get points dependant on the velocity of the hit (how hard it is) and the part of your opponent you hit.

I like the sound of this.

Should make it "exec saloons" or something like, with only roll cages and race weight added.

I was thinking of leaving the car choices as open as possible (after all Speed isnt exactly going to be a priority in this series) With just a few rules in line with Real life Banger Racing (in the UK at least)

However i can see big Exec Saloons being a weapon of choice for a fiar few people.

Ok guys ive got the lobby settings for this worked out now, so if anybody fancys a test session some time let me know... It is major fun!

I like the sound of a Demo Derby in Forza. Depending on when/if this is run, I'll definitely show up if I'm able to. I do think narrowing it down slightly would make it a little better though, like hatches, or 1990's, or small-ish cars.

Well what ive found works best so far through testing by myself (and picking on the computer ) is...

F Class - Front Engine - FWD

D Class - Front Engine - RWD

i think i'll put together a couple cars (i already have my Mercedes A200 in f class painted as a soccer ball for 'Foza Soccer')

This would make a great championship, if not a mini series. Slider and I had a little bit of practice and I could only imagine how much fun it could be with more than 2 people and no computers! More TORAns need to give this a shot!

well what days are you planning on running this because no offense i dont want to put input on something i dont participate in.

I think that's up to Slider, but I would think there needs to be interest from many people first.

i got a couple cars built, one being my TCC Ford Fusion down-graded to D-class, with the doors welded shut. also built a FWD nissan Versa

Well it would need to be either at a similar time to TFD or on a weekend slot for me to run this myself.

The more support we get the more likely TORA is to allow this series next season!
