PLOW Motorsport
Issue #1
Greetings from Plow Motorsport!
The team is a new venture looking to take its rookie season by storm. Team manager AJ commented " Even though this will be the first season of Mr Plow Motorsport, the calibre of drivers recruited within the team should give the seasoned veterans of season 1 a run for their money. The team will be working very hard on perfecting the tuning on our chosen team car. This level of commitment should stand us in good stead and certainly should be able to put the top runners under pressure"
The team has now confirmed 2 Drivers and are eagerly awaiting the confirmed list of available cars to test. Sponsors are also being sorced and confirmed so watch this space....
Plow Motorsport Drivers:
#58 AJtheButcher
#61 tubbiboy
Driver 3: TBC

Re: PLOW Motorsport
Issue #2
Greetings again.
Plow Motorsport have been busy testing and preparing for the up and coming BTCC season. Over a dozen cars have been put through their paces with varying degrees of success... The team car has been identified and we are hopeful of securing the car for this season.
Although 1 driver down, we are hopeful of securing the final driver by the end of this week.
On a completely seperate note, Plow Motorsport are proud to announce that their tuning division - Plow Motorspoort Tuning (PMT) are about to launch a tuning service to specific cars in A class. A gradual introduction of these vehicles will be introduced very shortly. You will be guaranteed a very competitive car that will boost your Ranking substantially in this class

The team have also confirmed that their choice of car has been accepted. The Plow Motorspot Works Subaru Legacy has provided a few teething problems but overall the team are happy with the progress of the car. The car livery will be confirmed shortly along with a few snap shots for you car spotters out there.
Remember "if in doubt, use a PLOW"

Re: PLOW Motorsport
Issue #3
Welcome to another informative issue from PLOW...
The team took to the track at the recent media day minus one driver, Tubbiboy who was unable to make the start line in time.
After extensive pre season testing, the team were confident the time spent fine tuning these japenese beasts would pay off.
It was the first time the cars had a chance to stretch their legs on the long straight at sunset infield. Both AJ and Paul were pleased with the overall performance and bullet proof reliability of the turbocharged boxer engine.
Team manager AJ and new driver Paul both commented how much they enjoyed the first mildly competitive session with Richy and Dan.
Ready and waiting....

Issue #4
Plow Motorsport establish themselves within the BTCC
Plow Testing Earlier This Week
Plow Motorsport are delighted with their first outing at Maple Valley Short today. After securing 1st 2nd and 7th on Qualifying, the team who all made lobby A went on to secure three 1st place finishes, two 2nd places finishes and two 4th place finishes.
Tubbiboy in race two had a terminal engine failure. This was caused by down shifting to quick into the hairpin and effectively causing the pistons to fire out of the block. The mechanics performed what can only be called a miracle by managing to complete a full engine change before the start of Race 3. Tubbi with the new engine certainly put it to good use by managing to pass AJtheButcher on the first corner of the last lap to snatch victory from the team manager.
Paul also had an unfortunate incident with AZT Backfire. The two traded paint during race 3 in the early stages. Unfortunately Backfire came off worse and effectively had to retire as his car had a terminal engine failure. Paul soldiered on, but the damage sustained was enough to prevent him from finishing better than 6th.
Team manager AJ commented: “ Wow what an amazing start to our season, definitely better than expected as the world of touring cars is so unpredictable. Maple Valley Short is a big test on how the car is set up. One mistake and effectively, your race is over.
Ive spoken to both Paul and Tubbi and as a team we feel we can take this as a learning experience in our rookie season. Paul unfortunately had a bit of a mare during todays racing. His team of mechanics made a few last minute adjustments to the car which unfortunately for Paul took his car off the pace of Tubbi and Myself. Tubbi couldn’t help but rub his fastest lap time in my face, but I do have to give him credit where credit I due as he managed a blisteringly quick lap time of 37.851.
Its early days in the championship and I have seen a number of teams show that they will not be a push over in the next rounds so im sure it will be very close not only in the drivers standings but also in the Team standings too”
The team will now commence testing for the next race at Suzuka East shortly and look forward to testing with the other teams in the very near future.

Re: PLOW Motorsport
*** PLOW on a roll ***
The media side of PLOW motorsport has been on a backburner of late, but the editor has decided to break this baron spell with a brief update on the team
Taking into account the past 3 rounds of the BTCC at Suzukam Mugello and most recently, Road Atlanta, the team has gone from Strength to Strength.
Team Manager AJ has secured Pole on all rounds of the seaon so far as well as winning on 7 of the 8 main races in lobby A, with Tubbi taking the other win making it 8 from 8 lobby A victories for PLOW motorsport.
The car choice of the Legacy appears to be paying off at this stage of the season however the team are not looking forward to Motegi East as the sheer size and weight will be a disadvantage in turns 3, 4, 5 and 6.
The team are however confident that they will be able to provide a competitive set up for the track but know qualifying is everything to maximise not only the drivers points, but also the teams points in the overall driver / team standings.
AJ commented 'the next race is critical for us to maintain the momentum we have manged to get from the previous rounds. There have been a few ups and downs with a couple of racing incidents but after a consultative chat within the team, the attitude is a positive one and as a team we are looking to build on our succesful start to the season'

Re: PLOW Motorsport
Kris, as you well know by now, i had a little surprise in store for race day, the orange being replaced by the rare fluorescent yellow for the extra visibility to other drivers and because i think it looks really cool.
You might have noticed the half a target on the rear that you made good use of in race 2 of seca, the race was a good one but will somebody please buy dan a rear view mirror. cost me second place and PLOW a 1,2 and 3 in race 2. we'll keep trying. top marks to nick and his focus, that is one quick dude, didn't matter how much i pressured him he kept it in front of me, nice racing guys.
