TORA 2011 LMS Testing & Paint!
Well, I have sort of made my desiscion about joining LMS and have done some testing around Catalunya Grand Prix Circuit in my Acura ARX-02a (LMP1) and got a time of 1.30.706, which, looking at the timing board which magictap has done, isnt bad! Only thing is, its WAY too slidey so might have to drive with TCS on! Got a seat spare if anyone wants one (will be racing in LMP1)! Anyways, heres some pics, lemme know some tips and thoughts on the paint!

looks good. if you did that DC logo yourself, i may need to ask for a few logos myself.
also, i wouldnt feel bad about having to use tcs in the prototypes. i, myself, cannot control those things without it. and even with it, i feel like a slug compared to the faster guys. heck, the 'footage' race we did for Dan at Road Atlanta, i struggled to hit a 1:10 in the pug 908.
thats a good reason why i stick to the GT's

i use traction control in them and i won 3 races in the LMS this year P1 + TCS = success, that is if you need it, some people can control these monsters with out TCS

Thanks guys! I will admit SWITCH, I did not make that DC logo myself! but if you go on storefront and type in dc green (or blue or whatever) theres loads like them. I got black, green, red and blue in that 'drip' style. I cannot do a logo to save my life thats why I take them from the SF lol!
And ok I will have another go tonight with TCS on and post the results!

Yea TCS is on all modern prototypes in real life, as well I am sure they would be so unstable otherwise, Switch run the 908 with TCS litd aero

I haven't race an official race with TCS on with TORA since Forza 3 came out, i agree with Ian you get a better feel for the car and it feels more rewarding when you pull a really fast lap out of the hat

I tend to use TCS whenever I can as even although I am competent without it I just don't want to run the risk of spinning the wheels when I am really pushing in a race or fighting with someone else and putting the car into a spin.

yeah just had a go and the cars easier but the times slower! i managed a 1:28:3xx and even that was a struggle! i suppose that will have to do cos if i spin out during the race it would be no good! i might try another couple of cars and see how it goes!

hang on a sec i just realised that last time out i done a 1.30.xxx and then i done a 1.28.368 and im saying its slower? forget that last comment lol so i will drive with TCS on lol!

Thanks Dan, this could be the final actually, because of all the layers, I'm running out of room 
might make a few more tweaks to it then that should be it, but I'm waiting on one of the other guys because they also have Monster Energy on their car!
