Little Big Planet 2

Ok so I've given in and really quite badly want this game!
I haven't played LBP1 at all so am not sure what to expect. Anyone had any experience with this?
What's the general opinion with this?

little big planet 1 was pretty awesome you have to unlock stickers to make certain things e.g a sticker of a handle to open a gate becomes a proper handle, the mp is amazing the amount of levels created by people was never ending, also good if you play with g/f or kids as well as it is reli user friendly and a great laugh.

LBP1 was brilliant but there isn't exactly a point to the game. it was good afetr it had been out for awhile and there were some incredible comunity levels. Its better playing alongside someone as well.
