Guild Wars 2

Had to give this a little plug, seeing as I worked on it....

Watch the "Evil Rises" trailer and tell me it's not a beautiful looking game!
Watch the "Manifesto" trailer and tell me it doesn't address a lot of the MMO grind gripes.

And remember, once you've bought the game, this is free to play - no subscriptions like WoW.

i borrowed that off a mate a couple of years ago and found it really confusing, when i got the hang of it though it was awesome

I remember the good days of Guild Wars. I use to play it, and what a fun game it was! Logged on MANY hours onto it, and this one looks so good! The only problem I see is that these games require way to much play time to make it through and such. I don't think I'll have time to play it honestly. Bummer because it looks amazing

Nice to see NCsoft can still impress - they just blew the PC game journalism world's minds with the pretty-much-final pre-release trailer for GW2, and also the first-look cinematic for Wildstar, which, when I was at NCsoft didn't even have a name - it was just a ton of concept art and story lore, though judging by the super-team of staff working on it, this is definitely an MMO to watch.
