Summer GT

Hey all,

With the Winter GT championship finished, I just want to say thank you to all of our members that took part.

Summer GT will be back but if you do have any ideas that you wish to pass onto me, please PM me (this can range from car list, rules, tracks locations etc)

The Same Cars from the ISCC GT2?

Maybe Double up the limits on capped cars?

I think Shift2 would be an exellent idea for the GT3's. But it all depends on whether we like the game first or not!........Hang on a second! 99% of us hated Race Pro and we still held a Pro Touring Car Championship. So what I said doesn't really matter does it? lol

how about lower pi range like 630 and lower? It would allow for different cars.

No further news except that we have started working on a car list and this will be held on Forza 3.

Yes I can confirm that car list is been put together this will remain on forza 3, extenisve testing will be completed and members of the community will be invited to help out.

Can I make a suggestion?
When you proceed with the testing on these cars, set a tune for all of them. Because I don't think testing them with stock tunes works! Having a tune on each makes it an easier way to place the cars on more of an even playing field because as proven in the Winter GT's, some of the cars were two or three seconds quicker (sometimes a lot more) than others.

Yep I can confirm we did tune the cars when testing them, however not having a enough of a testing team and drivers varations in skills hand an impact on times which we ran others could run.

So this time for Summer GT a TORA testing team will be set up not just full of staff but our members to make this the best return to GT racing

More news to follow in the few days on how to apply to join the test team.

I can help test here and there. Work schedule can prevent me from being on at the same times now but I'd be glad to help

For testing cars evenly the best option I found was to use Forza Tune, it gave everything a solid base tune and I worked on them from there. I will probably do the same this season and I can post up all the base setting I used for everyone else as well.

Will the Summer GT series remain on Sundays or will it move to a different day? There are only a couple of Sundays where we don't have either F1 or ISCC going on.

Being the flagship series that TORA started with, I'd personally like to see it stay on Sunday evening...
