The reasons I havent got many points is A)That was my first race that I signed up for, and B) I point blank refuse to have Vettel because he is an arrogant, German prick!

As opposed to Hamilton whose an arrogant, British Prick! lol
Re: Fantasy F1 2011 League
He's not as bad as Vettel though! Vettel strops HEAVILY when he loses, Hamilton shrugs it off and says "Not the best race but I know the team will take this all on and we'll be stronger next week" Whereas Vettel says (In a really annoyed voice) "Nah, car was crap, team let me down..." I have ALWAYS hated Red Bull!

Re: Fantasy F1 2011 League
I dunno Johnny, I've heard a few Hamilton strops about the team which he's said sorry for the morning after. The again he's usually the first to acknowledge the teams effort if things go well.
Webber is the one that gets me. Virtually everyone involved in the sport has nothing but nice things to say about him. I don't know what he's like off camera but I've seen no evidence of it whatsoever.

They are both uncharacteristic media puppets.
When was the last time a Formula 1 driver said anything remotely interesting? It was probably Karun Chandhok..

Re: Fantasy F1 2011 League
Lol, true but then again, the likes of HRT, Virgin and Lotus have no reason to be annoyed, THEY'RE USED TO BEING LAST!!! Lol! "Well, the car wasn't at its best but the I know the team will work hard to improve the gap" HAHA, yeah, you said that about last time!

Re: Fantasy F1 2011 League
yeah but look at some of the drivers in Virgin and Lotus: Trulli, Kovalinen and Glock are top quality drivers in highly under-performing cars so they have every right to be annoyed

The age we live in I'm afraid. Everyone gets schooled in the art of staying on the company line and not inadvertently feeding the media a story by using a slightly ambiguous line or something which can be used out of context.
It's why half of footballers stick to the default "Well obviously I'm delighted/unhappy, happy/upset for the fans, just focusing on the next game" (the other half are actually stereotypical footballers)

it's just easier to prepare a statement and then not have to deal with the millions of inane follow up questions by the reporters.

Veni Vidi Vici at the top.
If Lewis and Alonso hadn't screwed up then it could of been better.

I blame the media too.
The only reason we liked Karun Chandhok so much is because he actually said things himself!

and Paul di Resta... Any person from central Scotland trying to squeeze out Queen's English is always uncomfortable to listen to. Perhaps its just me, but I naturally feel that way, because its always been hard for me to pronounce all my letters without sounding like i'm taking the piss.

Re: Fantasy F1 2011 League
Hehe I always think something similar to "squeeze out" when it comes to the Scots dialect/language
And Chandhok seems like a genuinely nice bloke too.

Re: Fantasy F1 2011 League
Yep, i'm sad to say that I had to pick TGF2 to save my chances.
Nick Heidfeld gets promoted back into the team after Malaysia, I picked him for Aus... Petrov stays put, with Perez and Maldonado getting the boot.
Theres still a long ways to go, eh?

Re: Fantasy F1 2011 League
karun knows a ton about f1.
if it were he, anthony davidson doing practice and martin brundle and DC doing qually/race
it'd be amazing.
