Batman: Arkham City
Oh boy! Are Rocksteady going to pull off the improbable and follow Arkham Asylum with something that won't disappoint?

Re: Batman: Arkham City
I don't know much about it other than it made Gameinformers Good, Bad, and Ugly list as Bad. Reason is it features zero multiplayer or co-op. It is single-player only.
Re: Batman: Arkham City
Nah, I was just saying the new one didn't have multiplayer. No clue on the series. I get that magazine and remembered reading it last week
Re: Batman: Arkham City
Arkham Asylum is one of the greatest games I have ever played. The sense of immersion in a superhero's world is unrivalled, and no-one I have spoken to that's played the game has ever spoke bad of it.
I couldn't give a monkey's if it has no multiplayer or anything, and for a website to grade it bad as a result is a serious error in judgement, and personally, I wouldn't trust them now as a result of that. Not that I ever used that site.
This is sitting very high on my list of games to get, alongside Shift 2, Battlefield 3, and Forza 4.

It said that part of it was bad. Not the game itself. It's as recognized a magazine as any
Re: Batman: Arkham City
That's fair enough, but I fail to see how they can judge a game on that. Personally, I don't play games for multiplayer or co-op. That's an extra. I love good stories in a well thought out singleplayer game. That's what sells a game to me.

Re: Batman: Arkham City
I am the opposite, if a game doesn't have a good multiplayer I won't get it. I can play a game without it once, has no replay ability after that to me
Re: Batman: Arkham City
You really are missing out with that attitude! There are many great GREAT games with little or no multiplayer, including Arkham Asylum, which was deservedly one of the biggest hits of 2010, and also one of the biggest surprises (that it didn't suck, and even more that it REALLY didn't suck!) since pretty much every Batman game before was mediocre or worse.
I'm guessing you've not played Mass Effect either, or Deus Ex, Final Fantasy 7, Metal Gear Solid, Jade Empire, Half Life 2, Ocarina of Time, Portal, Bioshock, Max Payne, Knights of the Old Republic, or Splinter Cell.......

Or Fallout 3. Deserves to be among that list for sure.

Re: Batman: Arkham City
Played most of the Metal Gears and liked them. Have played all the Splinter Cells but they get old. really fast (Dammit Fisher!!). Too repetitive, same for Assassins Creed. I used to play the older Final Fantasy's but they got tiresome as well. Same exact thing on Max Payne. As for the others, I didn't play those games. I'm not much into the blowing up aliens and stuff like that

Who knew anyone with a link cable though? It's a bit like golf anyway, there might be other people involved but you only care about beating your own score.

Re: Batman: Arkham City
is it sad to say i own almost every version of the GameBoy's? the Classic, Pocket, Color, Advance, Advance SP (if i remember right), Micro. Also have the original DS, had a DSlite (traded in for the DSi) and pre-ordered the 3DS. i think the DSi-XL was pointless, as i didnt need something that big

Re: Batman: Arkham City
Really surprised to see the character revealed at the end of this trailer - the rogues gallery is looking amazing!
