Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
I dont want the guys penalised for being quicker we all know there quick its just I wish our Alfas would be a lil' quicker. Dont worry im taking every single line possible trying to get the car faster. Ive also been tuning the s**** out of the car but whatever way the PI is at is that the Alfa is just a bit heavy and is screwing up the handling, this in turn is making slower to accelerate as well. Even the tune im using at the moment hasnt got a gearbox in it so im a bit stuck. :/

In that case, sorry dude, respect. Took your comments the wrong way, I would seriously take butch up on his offer, that will help, apart from anything else, he is a demon at builds

Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
Just to add my 2 cents about builds and fast drivers; Mopar has put down the fastest lap I have seen so far at Sebring, and with the same exact car and build as him I still am WAY off. Same thing happened at Catalunya, he was 2nd overall, and I was 18th, with Insanity somewhere in the middle at 10th. The only time I picked up any speed was when I was practicing with them and following them around pretty much.
Captain, the gearbox might be important too it seems to help the M3 out a lot when tuned properly.

Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
Captain, I have put a tune for the Alfa on my store front. Quickest I did with a 20 min tune was a 2.06.000 ish. Let me know how you get on?

Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
Got anything for the Porka Butch,i'm always lookin to try new tunes just to see if it's the tune thats the problem for me or if it s just me being SLOOOWWW!!!! My guess is it's me more than the tune,so your mission (should you choose to accept) is to prove me wrong.
I'm languishing in the 08's at the moment, probably aiming for a low 07 or high 06.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
Hi mate... if you were driving any other car then i would be happy to help build/tune etc....
As we are running the porsche as a team, then unfortunately i cant help on this occassion....
All i can say is think outside of the box and be creative.... I built 11 different versions of the car for the track and spent the best part of 2 hours getting it there. My first outing was a 2.07 and then through persistance got it down to the low 2.06s and then had a break through last week finally getting it into the 2.05's.

I might run a few laps there tonight, though I'm going to miss the Laguna Meeting most likely

Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
ok Shifty, i got home and ran a breif 'Qually Session' style run at Laguna with my Catalunya tune, and hit a 1:27.59x. my tune though is suffering from a little understeer, & soft suspension (getting wear just after 4 flying laps)

Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
Cool. I'm finding it pretty hard to get the car feeling planted and keeping the understeer to a minimum. The left hander before the Corkscrew is a 'mare!

Re: MSA TORA GT Timing Board
I plan on doing more laps here than I have for the first few races since I am assuming Laguna will be rough in the BMW. Hopefully we can figure it out.
