SOS, du to other committments I will not be able to race tonight. If anyone is able to host the race and post qualy and race results in this thread I would be most greatful. Thanks to all

I am willing to give you the 2nd place back.. to be disconnected on the last lap with 2 corners left isn´t really fair.. But we will have to check with the others !

I don't think we should give Micko the 2nd place, unfortunately. It'd be like crashing out of the Le Mans 24h in the last 30 minutes.

I can't even start to think of how gutted you must feel Micko... Unlucky man.

For us in lobby B, it was a 1-2 finish for Johnnyboy360 Racing with ECB Rob Moore in 1st place and me just behind!! Thanks everyone, great racing!!

Gutted for you Micko,I spun out of 2nd place early on then spun again later in the race.Managed to claw my way back to 3rd mainly thanks to Thug having a serious lookin moment in turn 6 i think it was.Congrats to Johnnyboy racing for the 1-2 in our lobby.I enjoyed the race a lot more than i thought i would,considering me being a total noob on the game,tonight was my 5th online race total,so i'm happy and the only way is up (apart from the next 2 rounds where i suck lol) Good racing guys,catch you in Spain

These are preliminary results at the moment as the stewards are looking into the DNF on lap 29/29 of NRT car.

Though I wasn't there, may I offer a real life example....
Mika Hakinnen, Spain 2001. Leads the race going into the final lap, victory looks certain only for his gearbox to expire part way round the final lap handing victory to Schumacher....

Kind of like what happened to me for the Silverstone StockHatch. Qualified on pole, rolled it lap 2, pitted early and leap frogged my way into 2nd...last lap, less than a 100ft from the line (I could see it!!!) and I lag out.

F1 has 12 player lobbies right? Why was it split into lobbies of 6, must of been pretty lonely at times. Isn't really that fair on the 6 drivers in lobby 2 either.
